My girlfriend gave me this for my birthday. Awesome little box. Mine has the most gorgeous grain of maple on the side. I love it. You guys make good stuff. We need more companies like yours around.
@Dodgyasdf No they are peeled and cleaned. You have to peel the labels off any battery to use it with the LB. Goo Gone works to take off sticker residue
@vaughanr95 Yes just be sure to discharge the 2700 every 10 charges or so. you can do this by just holding in the batt until the light is very dim or out completely. This will keep the 2700 running better, longer. If you are thinking about getting a better charger, MF recommends the C-9000, which has discharge/refresh cycles.
@vaughanr95 they hit a bit better but they are HSD and will lose their charge after a few days. the stock batts are LSD and hold their charge way longer. The capacity isn't too much greater. The stock are 2400 and the 2700's are, well 2700 :) More to come on batts soon
hmmm i didnt want to buy OEM launch box batteries so I bough some energizer recharchable batteries, I peeled off the stickers and none of them worked. I've tried a couple different brands and same result. I just tried it with the non recharable duracell and it didnt work, but i put the negative side in first and it worked. why does it work this way?
@toskateisgrate doubt it. I've had one for about 4 months now. When you take a shower the steam you see is vapor, same thing that is produced from the MFLB. I barely notice a smell 5 minutes after exhaling. If you are really concerned just make yourself a sploof (toilet paper roll stuffed with dryer sheets.) If you do smell anything it is more likely the smell of the herb being heated in the trench. When the trench is cooking and nearly done it actually starts smelling popcorn-like : D
i hold it for a sec or 2, then start hitting and keep holding it for about 10 seconds while u take ur hit. their are variations to this method tho, for ex you can pulse the button towards the end of ur hit for longer hits
Just got this charger. How do you usually use it with the MFLB batteries. I have the ones that came with it and some 2700's. I just don't know what my discharge/charge rate on the batteries should be. I'd just like to know how you use this charger. Thanks!
@hamsteerio 2400's if you don't use the box a everyday(LSD batts hold their charge) or 2700's if you use it a lot (HSD batts lose their charge after a few days). Currently, I just make how to's and do some product testing for MF.
just got my launch box thed other day, pretty cool, I guess it comes with the 2400. had them charged for hours the LED is red still hasnt turned green. are you supposed to charge those for long period of time before using them like 8 hours plus? and the batteries have the white sticker on the + end is it ok if thats removed or should it be left on the battery?
This might be a silly question, but Ive got about 40 different NiMH rechargeable batteries from cameras and xbox controllers ranging from 1800-2500 mAh. Can I use them all or should I stick to the powerex that came with?
Appreciate the vids - I've watched a bunch of them. One thing I can't figure out is when you stop pressing the battery in. Do you only push it down for the 5 seconds and partake.. or do you hold it in during the entire hit? Thanks in advance if you have a sec to answer this-
Can't you just buy some AA rechargeable 2700 batts, won't they fit? oh and dude your vids are beyond helpfull, uve sold it to me, i am gna burn all my rizla and smash my bong, buy one of these and make it my new smoking companion, probly gna smoke1.5g per day ishhh, so ill need about 5 charged bats for a full day out, seems fine, but yh you gave me a way to get high without a spliff or hash brownies. your....THE GUY.
You can get real 3000 MaH batteries but they aren't really available to consumers. Panasonic makes a 3050MaH MiMH cell but will only sell them for industrial applications and firefighter gear
honestly, i got the heavy duty maha charger and i've tried two sets of powerex 2700s and i regret not spending that money on the power adapter or perhaps even a better vaporizer. going by the maha charger's own analyze function, the actual capacity of the 2700s barely rival that of 2400mah duracells from walgreen's and they don't perform noticeably better either. after five months of use and experimenting, i don't see any real evidence that the charger's break-in and refresh/analyze functions actually improve battery life. i'm not happy with the strength of hits from batteries after just a little bit of drain, but if i buy the power adapter now, i will have spent maybe around twice what i paid for the mflb in power accessories+batteries and that feels too ridiculous.
I AGREE WITH YOU 100%. I bought some Duracell's at walmart $8 and they are no better than the batteries that came with my BOX. I also agree about get sucked into more and more expenses. I bought the box and then realized that charging batteries sucks. I then dropped more money on the power adapter and then also realized I need the grinder to get the herb finely ground the way the unit needs.
Ah yes.....Don't put the uncapped battery in your pocket. They will short out through loose change or keys. There is nothing like a hot burning battery in your pocket.
I don't wanna be an ass or anything, but I'm pretty sure you're doing it wrong. You're leaving the MFLB to get too hot. There shouldn't be any smoke coming out of the vape or your mouth. Like this you're completely destroying the principle of vaporizing and you could as well use normal bowl or bong to get the same effect... Have you ever used any other vaporizer where you can set the temperature?

11slash711 Happy Birthday and welcome to the Flight Family! We're glad that you appreciate our efforts. Thanks for sharing your kind words! Much Love.
thank you guy!!
my magic flight is arriving today, and now I know exactly how to get the most out of the experience (:
***** bro we are 1000 years ahead of you! good to know the mflb was a big hit back then
can I use a like a regular AA battery from a pack or does it not work
@Dodgyasdf No they are peeled and cleaned. You have to peel the labels off any battery to use it with the LB. Goo Gone works to take off sticker residue
Thanks dude 😎
@SnipinAngel 2700's are HSD (high self discharge) so you will get a slightly stronger hit than with the stock 2400's (LSD low self discharge)
@vaughanr95 Yes just be sure to discharge the 2700 every 10 charges or so. you can do this by just holding in the batt until the light is very dim or out completely. Dude, thanks for the wonderful Tic Tac tip! I bought mine yesterday :)

the tune in the beginning was from Friday right? i love that bear lol. kick ass videos man, i love this vape!

Is it possible to peel the labels and residue off of normal AA batteries and use them with the MFLB?

yes, but make sure to discharge them completely on occasion prior to charging
any aa battery fits but you can go on ebay or amazon you can get powerx batteries
If I get the 4 power x batteries can I use the magic flight batterie charger to charge the power x batteries?
@hypecity69 No. Batteries should be AA NiMH rechargeable. Using any other battery chemistry type is definitely not good and can be dangerous.
So do you recommend the 2400 or the 2700? Also, are you just making how to's for the mflb or do you work for the company?
Appreciate the vids - I've watched a bunch of them. One thing I can't figure out is when you stop pressing the battery in. Do you only push it down for the 5 seconds and partake.. or do you hold it in during the entire hit? Thanks in advance if you have a sec to answer this-
Where can I purchase the 2700 that fit in the launch box?
you should do a review of the whips and the grinders from magic flight
i noticed your powerex's are plain looking. did you just peel the labels off or is there a certain model of powerex's that come like that?
Is it safe to use the unwrapped batteries in something els to run them down
@MagicFlightVaporizer alright. that's what i was guessing. thanks for the info. probably gonna grab me an mflb in the next few weeks.
so how exactly should i discharge the battery before charging when its not fully discharged?
that zebra wood looks great dude
what happens if the batteries are not in a case just in a ziplock bag, because i only have 2 battery caps
put them in anything that uses AAs. An LED flashlight would get them nice and low for example.
Hey great vid! By the way, whats the song in the beginning..? :D
Passin' Me By - The Pharcyde.
You must break a lot of stems with how loosely connected you keep it in the box.

is there any way i can get a zebrawood box?
You can get real 3000 MaH batteries but they aren't really available to consumers. Panasonic makes a 3050MaH MiMH cell but will only sell them for industrial applications and firefighter gear
KKlleemmoo The batteries included with the MFLB do not have memory. Meaning they do not need to be dead to be charged.
Whats the song!?!?

yes. there are ones out there over 3000 but they have been tested and are fake ratings
love your zebra wood mflb :) what a pity that there aren't any to buy...
Ah yes.....Don't put the uncapped battery in your pocket. They will short out through loose change or keys. There is nothing like a hot burning battery in your pocket.
Dude looks like a slightly heavier version of yelawolf lol
Uh, no. Thick vapor clouds do not equal combustion.
ya ik
