Omg Girl... Ive been suffering from depression so my cleaning wasn't getting done... I had no motivation at all. I have to say a BIG THANK YOU TO YOU! ive been watching you clean and now my motivation is BACK! I suffer from fibromyalgia and Lupus so my energy levels are rubbish.
The three different views of the windows remind me of life. You can decide what to do depending on the angle you look at it. I choose to see the bright side and remain positive. ❤️
Natural hessian for sure. You do not want to go dark, as it always makes rooms look much smaller. The lighter colors will keep the rooms looking bright and spacious. I tend to like grays myself and we have light gray throughout the house. Then we changed all the door knobs and hardware to black. It looks stunningly beautiful. But, each home is different and you must choose according to the personality of you own home! The yard looks amazing, Kay! Can't wait for those little sunflowers to get a real face on them all decked out in bright yellow!!!

The "fairy plants" are Aquilegia.. common name is Columbine. If the sun comes over your house towards the backyard building, plant them there as they will turn their heads to the sun, you don't want your neighbors to end up being who gets to enjoy those big beautiful flowers. Can't think if the name of that last flower you showed, it's familiar, just can't think of it, I really like that rose in the kitchen window, it's lovely. My color choice would be a nice soft blue/grey, it would be so calming for a good nights sleep and would match your grey headboard nicely.
In my (decidedly unprofessional) opinion the natural hessian looks really nice! You could google some photos, maybe it would help to see what it looks like when a whole room is painted with it rather than just a patch on the wall 😊
Thanks for taken us along for the day. Watching on a very sunny sunday with a cup off coffee. The flower you namen fairyplant is a European columbine, they spread themselfs really easy. The other one i think is a Brown knapweed of a sort. Hope this helps

Paint colors always appear more pronounced when on a wall rather than swatches, so I always aim for the lightest shades with really always good results. What a great transformation of your garden! I've lived in numerous places around the globe and traveled extensively and I've found no where is the weather more "changeable" than England!

Hi. I recently started watching your channel because it was in the suggested. And because I am cat mad lol. I have two cats .Pip and Arhena. Pip is a Torrisholme, Athena a Russian blue. Both girls. I was watching you talk about paint colours. Which brings me onto. I'm a furniture artist. Therefore I use paint a lot. I am gradually changing over to their paint. Purely because I'm passionate about the environment, conservation. 'Little Greene ', based in Manchester . Paired up with the, 'National Trust ', for one of their paint collections. They are steeped in history. The company started in 1773. They say on the website - "Little Greene is socially and environmentally responsible production of high quality paints and wallpaper". They even produce historical colours. For example- the exact same shade of green from Beatrix Potter's green gate. A lot of the french chateau owners use 'Little Greene ', paint. Example - Michael Pethericks TH-cam channel. Where , though he's living on the grounds of a Chateau with his bother and rest of his family. He is currently renovating a gardeners cottage. And guess what. He is a HUGE Beatrix Potter fan. He's renovating his cottage to her style. With an old reconditioned aga, which he himself reconditioned most of. Old flooring that's been re - used from somewhere else on the old grounds. He loves his spode, tea. He also is good at art. He uses 'Little Greene ', paint. It was him mentioning it on his channel that got me into switching over. Because he visited the French factory shop. His channel is - 'Doing it Ourselves '. If you like his channel definitely watch his friend Stephanie Jarvis's channel,'The Chateau Diaries '. Because there is never a dull moment there. They have workaway volunteers from all over the world. They are all so funny to watch. Especially Stephanie, and her mum, mummy isabelle who is French. Definitely scroll to the bottom to watch all the videos. Then you'll see how Michael plays a big part in the chateaus. I love watching your channel because you show such genuine love, respect for your cat. As do I for mine.

Outdoor kitchens for the bottom space ;) plus I also love the colour you prefer for the walls! I am also renovating an old barn in northeast Portugal And I will use a similar colour for the bedroom. I have a sloped ceiling so I might also paint the ceiling the same colour too. I want to paint my front door a similar green you have on your shed. It is lovely! What is it?

With clematis you can prune them back all the way to just 30cm above the ground in late autumn (just above a bud) and they will regrow in the spring (known as a hard prune) and that should revitalise them x

Soft stone is basically flesh, so definitely too pink. We made that mistake and hated it. We have nutmeg white now and it is a warm neutral with no yellow at all but hardly any pink in it.
Your garden is looking good. I would try to break up the length of it so that you can't see all of it at once. Maybe with a pergola or something similar, growing Roses or clematis up and over at both sides. Pergolas can be expensive I know so maybe a long term project.
That's a great idea 🥰 I'm hoping once we have a greenhouse (maybe by next spring) that will help, and an arch way next to it up to the magnolia to section off the end of the garden. I'm excited to see it change over time 🙌🏼

Do you have Resene paint in England? Quarter Napa or Tea are lovely warm, soft and neutral shades.

I think they are all too dark. Nutmeg might be light enough.
