This was an awesome trip down memory lane. Grew up with the Commodore 128, so many great games and great tunes on that system. The collection is looking awesome!
Awesome! When you were putting away the games away have to say with the new camera, it looked amazing. Can't wait for the games library room tour next year. Looking forward to other segments you have in store for us and the surprises that wait for us...
Awesome "what's in the box", I had a Spectrum and had most of the games shown, best times was swapping tapes with mates at school and making sure we didn't buy doubles and then recording them to blank tapes, games were 99p to £2.99 lunch money.
Excellent way to start a Friday morning. New camera is looking excellent mate. Thank you and have an awesome weekend! Finally i'll have the time to play mario odyssey this weekend! whats everyone else looking forward to playing?
I'm in the same boat. Zelda has always been on my list to get into. I even acquired the SNES game from a storage find. I just haven't had the time to devote to it.
Odyssey is such a love letter to fans. It's so much fun. I finished the main story Wednesday, but there is more to do after. Just know, you're in for a treat. The outfits become addicting, and I'm not normally into those things. The Switch is on a roll, and i was a bit of a nay sayer at launch. Never count Nintendo out. Enjoy!!
WoW! So many awesome titles! I absolutely love Myth! And Silkworm! And Beyond the Ice Palace! And Vigilante! Etc! Etc!... So many amazing memories playing many of those games! Thanks for showing, Joel! And that new Panasonic camera is incredible! Cheers!
Absolutely loved all those great C64 games, I still remember the day I bought International Karate on cassette, I took a day off school, rushed home and played it for 12 hours straight. Miami Vice had an awesome soundtrack. Fantastic seeing these cassette versions.
OMG, Stunt Cycle!I would also love to get my hands on one. I've failed a half a dozen times to get one complete in the box. I actually have a sad story. Whims that console. I was a HUGE fan of Evel Knievel as a kid, and loved the arcade version. I would play it a ton when my Dad would take me to the Bowling alley. He had his Thursday Night League, and I played in the arcade. Anyway, when I saw the Stunt Cycle console on the JCPenney Christmas Catalog, it was the ONE thing I wanted for Christmas. I got it, but sadly I ended up with a defective unit that just displayed a black screen when turned on. Even worse, when my mother returned to the store for an exchange, they were no longer in stock, and my parents were never able to get it elsewhere. It was a sad Christmas indeed. Anyway, I know I'll get one eventually!
My Man! Looks good! Can't wait till we start getting these Eye on Retro's going, so we can see the full collection, in it's splendid, well-catalogued glory!
WOW, your new camera is awesome!!! Everything is crystal clear. I could see details on the Jaguar CD box, on the back wall. When you do the next room tour, I'm going to have an aneurysm from the overload of detail in everything. You definitely did your homework. Great stuff!!!
Some great C64 games there Joel :) I've just sold off a big chunk of my c64 collection , about 800 games , I sold them to Alex who you've bought off before on ebay so expect to see some nice new titles getting listed soon as I dropped them off at his house last week .....there was some great titles in what I sold him
i'm so jealous right now :P Double cassette boxes are more desirable than the budget release versions those companies (Ocean/imagine,US Gold,Elite etc etc) put out afterwards.
Yipee Thundercross music! Again loved that game in the Arcades. I was sad no ports were made of it - same with the Aliens arcade game. You think Konami hated money back then.
I'm about to get myself a Commodore 64. Been hearing it is a great computer. So I just got to my hands on one. And looking at the game clips on this video. I am definitely getting it.
You should make a video on how those Commodore tapes work. I still don't understand how a tape can be played as a game when the head can only read one bit of tape at a time.
Usually the entire tape has to be loaded into memory before you can play. I have memories of loading Buck Rodgers on the ADAM computer. It took about 20 minutes, and then I'd actually play for 10 minutes before i turned it off. We've come a long way, yet people still complain when they have to wait 30 seconds to play something incredible like the Witcher 3.
I love mutants! Well that's ok ;) I love the c64 and collect cartridges for it, Sits next to the Atari Xegs. Another excellent vid and audio work right there Last Gamer.
Love it Last Gamer. You champ. Keep up the good video's. You are over due to update us on the status of the new building. How is the construction engineer planning for the huge arcade room coming along? When do you start to dig the foundation for that addition? Also did we get a tour of your game room with the sliding doors? We saw a bit of a sneak peak with you showing your son playing a game but we never saw an unveil or did we?
Awsome video again, i really love it when you let us see when you put them on your shelves, i really hope i get a nice job soon so i can buy more games, and make my collection bigger,
Nice to see iO getting some well deserved recognition. Great shooter. Also the 1st full price game I ever bought (was young and mostly pirated the years prior). Difficult game, but I managed to complete it eventually. Black Lamp I really enjoyed "back in the day", but I must admit it has aged poorly.
Cracking video the C64 is my favourite retro system and some awesome pickups there im also a big fan of IO im surprised it wasnt a bigger hit bitd its definetly one of the best shooters on tbe C64. Also interesting that Australia also got tape games I though only europe had tape games.
Wow!! The Commodore 64! What a great system! Me and a friend have hundreds of hours challenging on the C64 and Amiga versions of IK+! Such a sick nostalgic game. I so want to play that copy of Last Ninja in the BG :P Close with a few points. I think Silkworm on the Amiga is better than the Arcade version. Same with Dragon Ninja and Turtles in Time was better than the Arcade on the Snes. US Gold the most American sounding company that are actually British lol... Crocket and Tubbs looking 80s cool and my favourite version of Vigilante is on the Turbografx. Great video Joel :) sorry if comment was too long.
Joel you simply are the best, I also live in melbourne so you are my local hero ❤ i might have something i can send you for fan zone i think you will love it 🙃
Great vid again joel. I just wondered if your gonna be purchasing one of the c64 minis? Plus my game shed was featured in retro gamer mag issue 168, could I send you a copy to pop in your games room, id love to think my feature is in the world's largest video game collection!
Gamer Tom that’s unreal. Yes please send me a copy I would love to have it on fan zone and talk about your shed. I probably won’t get a c64 mini love original stuff
Hey Joel. I really enjoy all of your videos. But why are you showing all of your Pick-ups in the Thumbnail? In my opinion it takes away the Surprise of "what's in the box?" for us as viewers. Maybe it's just my opinion. Keep up your work. Greetings from Germany
pietropapa I use to do this but then people would not look at the video as some said it was click bate. I may try this again, thanks for the feedback 🙏

Fudd 90 thanks I am very happy with the camera also.
Odyssey is great- enjoy it!
I’ll be playing Commodore 64
I'm doing the same. Just got a Switch last weekend. When I'm done Mario, Zelda is next!
Zelda is SO good. as treacherous as it might be I had never played a zelda game prior. I was hooked
I'm in the same boat. Zelda has always been on my list to get into. I even acquired the SNES game from a storage find. I just haven't had the time to devote to it.

It's a Pixel THING 👍
Absolutely loved all those great C64 games, I still remember the day I bought International Karate on cassette, I took a day off school, rushed home and played it for 12 hours straight. Miami Vice had an awesome soundtrack. Fantastic seeing these cassette versions.
Hasan Coskun such a timeless game man
I enjoy watching what's in the box just to find out about awesome videogame soundtracks. There's so many new games I have to check out
OMG, Stunt Cycle!I would also love to get my hands on one. I've failed a half a dozen times to get one complete in the box.

OMG, Rick Dangerous! Oh the memories
My Man! Looks good! Can't wait till we start getting these Eye on Retro's going, so we can see the full collection, in it's splendid, well-catalogued glory!
Great pickups Joel! Thanks for the video! Always an enjoyable watch!
WOW, your new camera is awesome!!! Everything is crystal clear. I could see details on the Jaguar CD box, on the back wall. When you do the next room tour, I'm going to have an aneurysm from the overload of detail in everything. You definitely did your homework. Great stuff!!!

I had that very same version of Myth as a kid. Sold it to a friend, great game.
International Karate Plus gotta have the nicest looking sunset background for a C64 game
I remember a game called Zamzara for the C64, my brother and I played it for hours!!..your collection is amazing
When I come to Australia one day I'm coming to look you up. I need to see this collection in person. Great video!
Some great C64 games there Joel :)
I've just sold off a big chunk of my c64 collection , about 800 games , I sold them to Alex who you've bought off before on ebay so expect to see some nice new titles getting listed soon as I dropped them off at his house last week .....there was some great titles in what I sold him

Yipee Thundercross music! Again loved that game in the Arcades. I was sad no ports were made of it - same with the Aliens arcade game. You think Konami hated money back then.
