16:24 That's Wolverine from the Age of Apocalypse storyline in the comics. He has one hand because Cyclops joined Apocalypse's forces, and Wolverine and Jean were together and fought against them. Cyclops unleashed a full on optic blast into Wolverine's hand and wrist, melting and severing Wolverine's hand. Also, Deadpool was in the story arc, but he was a full on psychotic murderer working for Apocalypse as part of a high level kill squad, and his name was Dead Man Wade. So that Wolverine seeing a Deadpool and straight savaging him no questions asked is entirely in character.
The early version of the script DID have Tony himself appearing, however they decided that would be too on-the-nose, especially since they were planning to reveal Downey's return as Doom. Yes, Pyro HAS controlled Johnny's flames in the comics. I would be all in on Laura as the MCU Wolverine. 46:08 the original storyline for this wolverine was he ran away from the kang dynasty who fought the X-men but due to them firing the actor for kang they changed it
Punisher films were owned by Lionsgate. Blade was New Line Cinema, a division of Warner Bros. And the "iceskate uphill" line is basically a "some people just gotta do things the hard way" saying .
"Retarded?!" Is my favourite line by FAR!😂 shit got me so good in the theatre/cinema😂 was laughing for a solid 5 minutes.. Edit: still repeating it in my head like 20 mins later😂 "thought you were... retieeerd..." "RETARDED?!?!" 😂
Except that was clearly not 5’3, that was deliberately shorter to make the point. Like this dude clearly posted, the actor himself isn’t even 5ft and the selfie he posted looked way better than the Jackman cgi final product. They should’ve just left him like that. Also, the props around him were taller for bigger effect. So this wasn’t really “comic accurate portrayal of Wolverine’s 5’3” height.
Oohimmamakeanamefmyselfhere And I don’t know why I got reminded of Descendants 4 when Deadpool said “It’s what Johnny would’ve wanted” Rest in peace Cameron Boyce. 💔
Hugh Jackman had asked the producers to cover up his arms for protection has he has been dealing with skin cancer for several years now. This is likely why people think that Jackman's arms are CGI as they heard about this and assumed that he had kept his skin covered for most of the film and that he has green screen sleeves during the shots where he had had the sleeves removed. As far as I know, this is not true as most of the last half of the film was shot in doors so there was no longer any need for the sleeves.
Does anyone else immediately click away when u hear “ I already watch this movie”💀. I feel like most people watch reactions to relive watching a movie for the first time through reactors

Deadpool and Wolverine was awesome and I just saw it in theaters today after work. I've been a huge Wolverine fan since the late 90's animated series and I love Hugh Jackman's portrayal of him too. Wolverine is forever on my Mount Rushmore of favorite superheroes ever
I'm quite certain that the "accent" that Chris Evans was talking in when he was ranting at the end-scene credits was a homage to Dennis Leary's style of comedy.
Hey Mel I love your reactions and this one especially is a good one to rewatch because there are so many cameos and jokes you don’t even notice or catch the first time:) keep up the amazing work
I LOVE THE SUIT!!!!!! And the mask…. Omg, it gave me goosebumps when I first saw him put it on! I grew up watching the x-men cartoons in the 90s and have always wanted to see him in the yellow and blue suit from the comic books and 90s cartoon! Hugh looks amazing!!
AVI ARAD ruined a lot of Marvel movies in the early 2000s Mainly... * Daredevil (2003) * The Punisher (2004) * Elektra (2005) * Fantastic Four (2005) * X-Men: The Last Stand * Spider-Man 3 And now he's gonna ruin... * Kraven the Hunter * Venom: The Last Dance * The Legend of Zelda * Naruto As long Arad lives, there's no hope
Not sure it was said on here, but yeah the Deadpool that had the Welsh flag on his chest aka welshpool was an tribute to the team they own. The guy that plays him is one of their star players on the team.
54:14 If you look at Wolverine's arm here, you can see Deadpool's katanas literally clip right into Wolverine's left arm when he swing the katana onto his back. That's why people are saying his arm is CGI.
Now that you mention it, maybe it's the katanas that are CGI. Because sheathing blades on the back like that in real life is almost impossible without at least a hundred takes. Same in Batman movies where they CGI the cape so it moves properly.
I come from a family of short kings and queens and the shorter they are, they get meaner and crazier. They make fun of me for being a freakish giant (I'm 5'4) and they call my husband "Gigantor" (he's 6'3). No one in my family, except me, is over 5 feet tall and they kind of all look like comic accurate Wolverines.
Not a whole lot to pick from really. This film was great and everything I wanted from DP3, but Dune 2 also came out this year and that was peak cinema.
Deadpool three is the best of the franchise! Hugh Jackson gives his best performances wolverine ever since Logan. I have never seen a better Marvel movie dealing with the Multiverse better than across the spider verse and no way home. Deadpool three did it better in every way
Most people didnt catch on that Stark might be alive, while he was getting interviewed to join Avengers. Leaning into the reveal of him as Dr. Doom with the comic thrown into the movie and then at the reveal. Movies like to throw hints its up to people with keen eyes and sense who break it down to catch it
I love your videos and can’t wait to see more. Oh and I don’t know if anyone said this, but The Gambit character is from Louisiana so he has a Cajun accent(which I found out when I heard that his character was gonna be in the movie). Some people said they didn’t like it, but it’s true to the character and how it’s supposed to sound. And also, I’m from Louisiana so it’s accurate of how it sounds( in my opinion).
Same, I was surprised at some of the complaint's on his accent since it's pretty spot on. Granted, I'm Cajun Creole from the Lafayette area and even though I'm close to New Orleans it can still vary. The only thing was (of course since it's a Deadpool movie) is that the actual line's said by Gambit is campier then the norm for the character. But yea, it's a Deadpool movie so all characters lean into that.
@@neptunie5171 I do agree with some of the lines were too much and over the place but hopefully there’s gonna be a movie for gambit that truly gives us more of him with it being respectful to the character. And hope that Channing Tatum plays him. I loved him playing the character. The one from the x-men: Wolverine didn’t give the character justice in my opinion.

Genuinely the only reaction of this that's rewatchable for me. I always dance at 41:10 & funnily enough Van Wilder was also my first Ryan movie, but I was a kid, so it felt like a fever dream lmao. I'd also say, I would've loved to see MC's Ben Grimm interacting with all of them, and would've loved if Johnny stayed alive till the end, but you know, the budget, and also Gwenpool as you said. "Retarded?!" Is my favourite line by FAR!😂 shit got me so good in the theatre/cinema😂 was laughing for a solid 5 minutes..
Edit: still repeating it in my head like 20 mins later😂 "thought you were... retieeerd..."
"RETARDED?!?!" 😂
Same i thought i was the only one who found it really funny for absolutely no fucking reason
This is probably the greatest role leap Emma Corrin had taken. She did well as Cassandra Nova!
Gave us a villain that had depth. Wouldve loved her to lasted a bit longer into other films however not too upset about her death.
58:24 At this point, I just KNEW Deadpool was deliberately holding himself and Logan back for JUST the right moment to make their entrance!
Bro I'm so glad that you finally watched this movie on the channel
Comic accurate portrayal of Wolverine's 5' 3'' height
Except that was clearly not 5’3, that was deliberately shorter to make the point. Like this dude clearly posted, the actor himself isn’t even 5ft and the selfie he posted looked way better than the Jackman cgi final product. They should’ve just left him like that. Also, the props around him were taller for bigger effect. So this wasn’t really “comic accurate portrayal of Wolverine’s 5’3” height.
Oohimmamakeanamefmyselfhere
And I don’t know why I got reminded of Descendants 4 when Deadpool said “It’s what Johnny would’ve wanted”
Rest in peace Cameron Boyce. 💔
Human Torch did say you could quote him🤷♂️😂
Hugh Jackman had asked the producers to cover up his arms for protection has he has been dealing with skin cancer for several years now.
That's Fine. I Appreciate you For Commenting Anyway. I Just Love To Share My Love And Passion For Movies And Such. Don't All Have To Be First Time Watchings Especially When A Movie Still Can Get Emotion Out Of You Like Watching It For The First Time. ✌🏾
Same, because tbh the reactions be looking fake and forced 💯 and it dont be as entertaining when they already know whats going to happen and act like they don't
Fr fr
I'd rather they be open and honest than pretend they didn't see it. Everyone who reacts and likes superhero movies saw this movie already. At least he was upfront right in the beginning.
Looking good, Mel.
I needed this reaction, first time watching it or not you still kill it in your videos!
Deadpool and Wolverine was awesome and I just saw it in theaters today after work. I've been a huge Wolverine fan since the late 90's animated series and I love Hugh Jackman's portrayal of him too. Wolverine is forever on my Mount Rushmore of favorite superheroes ever
It’s no longer In theaters how did you see it?
@@tmac731 I was fortunate enough to see it a few weeks ago
I'm surprised they didn't have at least one scene of deadpool and wolverine repairing all the holes and cuts in their costumes.
having deadpool in other marvel movies would be so cool
50:03 Waiting was the first Ryan Reynold’s movie I saw. Made me appreciate food servers on a greater scale
I'm quite certain that the "accent" that Chris Evans was talking in when he was ranting at the end-scene credits was a homage to Dennis Leary's style of comedy.
“Marvel Jesus”
Hey Mel I love your reactions and this one especially is a good one to rewatch because there are so many cameos and jokes you don’t even notice or catch the first time:) keep up the amazing work
For four hundred years had me dying
My husband and I just watched this movie. It’s F***ing Hilarious 😂
11:07 I’m not going to let those two AYEYO statements simply gloss over 😂
The humans probably had guns similar to the ones in X-Men 97 where they instantly take away a mutant’s powers
Genuinely thought you were recording in a bathroom for that first second lmaooo
AVI ARAD ruined a lot of Marvel movies in the early 2000s
Mainly...
* Daredevil (2003)
* The Punisher (2004)
* Elektra (2005)
* Fantastic Four (2005)
* X-Men: The Last Stand
* Spider-Man 3
And now he's gonna ruin...
* Kraven the Hunter
* Venom: The Last Dance
* The Legend of Zelda
* Naruto
As long Arad lives, there's no hope
He's also ruining the other non-Marvel movies
@@SuperiorPhantom-dx6vh Like Borderlands
The 2004 punisher movie wasn't "ruined" at all
Bro said "YummyKo" but it is accuate lmao 😂
Not sure it was said on here, but yeah the Deadpool that had the Welsh flag on his chest aka welshpool was an tribute to the team they own. The guy that plays him is one of their star players on the team.
The ending made me cry
That bazooka obviously belonged to the Ray Stevenson Punisher.
Even though you didn’t get to see the dance intro on the big screen, at least we got to see your first reaction to it!
Deadpool: Lets, Get The people what they gave for😆
Wolverine: Lets fucking goo 😡🤬
54:14 If you look at Wolverine's arm here, you can see Deadpool's katanas literally clip right into Wolverine's left arm when he swing the katana onto his back. That's why people are saying his arm is CGI.
Now that you mention it, maybe it's the katanas that are CGI. Because sheathing blades on the back like that in real life is almost impossible without at least a hundred takes.
Same in Batman movies where they CGI the cape so it moves properly.
@@nitrokid Or they weren't in the same place in that part of the shot until the following shot after that
Mellow’s response to Cassandra at points made me feel vindicated for having a similar response, lmao 🤣😅
That futuristic deadpool is Deadpool 2099
I come from a family of short kings and queens and the shorter they are, they get meaner and crazier. They make fun of me for being a freakish giant (I'm 5'4) and they call my husband "Gigantor" (he's 6'3).
No one in my family, except me, is over 5 feet tall and they kind of all look like comic accurate Wolverines.
Wolverine in the comic books is small. It's not a joke on the actor's size. That's Cable.
This is definitely the Best Movie of the Year!
Not a whole lot to pick from really. This film was great and everything I wanted from DP3, but Dune 2 also came out this year and that was peak cinema.
@@brettcloud8550If that’s the case, this movies second best.
Coonass here, from a cajun family, round Meraux. That dialect is 100% on point.
41:30 people typically have forgotten there was already another Blade in a show that was played by a different actor. Only had one season, I think.
Yeah, Sticky Fingaz
Great review! Thanks for the Gambits speach comment. Im half French Cajun from New Orleans and was happy with what they did.
Deadpool three is the best of the franchise! Hugh Jackson gives his best performances wolverine ever since Logan. I have never seen a better Marvel movie dealing with the Multiverse better than across the spider verse and no way home. Deadpool three did it better in every way
Mans rocking stache? You rock that bruh
You know how badass of a song you gotta be that you can easily replace Portals when that was already the peak of the MCU to that point?
Most people didnt catch on that Stark might be alive, while he was getting interviewed to join Avengers. Leaning into the reveal of him as Dr. Doom with the comic thrown into the movie and then at the reveal. Movies like to throw hints its up to people with keen eyes and sense who break it down to catch it
It was stated in the opening scene that that interview took place in 2018 which was before endgame
you can still delete this head canon ahh comment
21:16 *THANK YOU*
I saw this film twice in the theater. Great reaction Mello! 👍🏿
Superman as wolverine she should be his side kick
People really complaining in
the comments that you've seen
the movie before but i thought
this reaction was still great
(My favorite momment was
the back to back Tom Yell from
both Mell and Wade at 34:36)
56:24 🖖🖖🏻🖖🏼🖖🏽🖖🏾🖖🏿
I took my daughters to see this in theaters. now all my youngest wants to play is NSYNC Bye Bye Bye . lol. loveeeee this movie. i was smiling big when i saw Blade
I thought it was good. I'm not the biggest Deadpool fan, but it was a fun and heartfelt send-off to the Fox era of films.
I'm not the biggest Deadpool fan either,but,I like that his films are so different than the MCU movies tho.
I was hoping for Cyclops, Storm, and Jean. The whole time I watched the movie, I was like, they have to be in it, but they were not. I thought that they should've helped against the Deadpool Corps, but now I think they should've just given us the third act flashback for us to see them.
Using nicepool as a human shield literally killed me, comedy gold 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
How do you show up late to a movie? The movie times are when the trailers start. You got like 30 minutes after that till the actual start of the film
I'm Always Late. It Really Is A Problem I Need To Fix.
@@HelloMellowXVI hell yeah, love your vids man 😂. I hope i didn't sound like a huge hater
Cause that'd be so fuckin' awesome.
Bro your reactions have me dying 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 definitely one of my top 3 movie reaction channels keep it up mellow! And one more thing, ive noticed you like alot of comedy shows/movies one that just came to my mind is blue mountain state!
Please give the Star Trek franchise a chance.
Good lord, there is SO MUCH there. Lotta content, not sure if there'd be a huge audience to make it worth it.
@@robertfalk3767 He don't have to watch everything! Maybe: top ten Classic episodes = Star Trek 1 to 6 = top twenty "The Next Generation" episodes = Star Trek 7 to 10 = the three J.J. Abrams Star Trek movies? ✌️
one of the reasons i'm excitedly waiting to rewatch this movie on D+ is so i can turn on my subtitles and watch Gambit's scenes, ALL SCENES, again and know exactly wat da hell he been saying from this movie 🤔🤣🤔🤣
Great reaction mell,this movie was fantastic
Henry was my favorite part of the movie, reloading them guns was amazing
This isn't an MCU movie
This is a Deadpool movie
But marvel got the X men rights back from fox so yes this is a mcu movie
Deadpool is from marvel lmao
And it isn’t the best either
Is is a standalone mcu movie
Its the least mcu mcu flick there is and when deadpool and wolvie do eventually actually come to the mcu there gonna just have to re explain it instead of just doing it here lol
