That will directly open the product page in a new tab. Change which template to use, hit Save and close the tab.

Hey Julia I hope your doing well one question is that does shopify support prepaid credit cards in order to buy shopify plans second question is that if I run a POD shopify store with printify integration after I receive an order from a customer when does shopify pay me thanks in advance
Hey there! Prepaid credit cards are not supported to pay for the Shopify subscription, although they may sometimes work. These are the card requirements for paying Shopify invoices: -You must use a valid credit card from Mastercard, Visa, or American Express. Your credit card needs to allow for recurring payments. -Alternatively, you can use a debit card that is co‑branded with Mastercard, Visa, or American Express. -The card must have international capabilities. -The card must be set up to accept recurring transactions. -If your co‑branded debit card doesn't have these capabilities or if you're not sure, then you must contact the financial institution that issued the card for assistance. Answering your second question, once a customer places an order on your Shopify store, you will receive the full retail price from the customer via whatever payment gateway you set up inside Shopify. So from the price you set in your store, you will receive everything. Then, in your supplier's platform, you will be charged separately only for the product supply and shipping. The profit will be left in your bank account once both transactions are completed. Keep in mind that the payment from Shopify may take a couple days to reach you, depending on the payment gateway you chose. Hope this clarifies things, if you have more questions, feel free to let me know!
@@Shopify-Success Thanks a lot Julia So in order to fulfill my order I need to have at least some amount of deposit in my Paypal for example. Is that correct?!
You're welcome! With most suppliers, you will need to manually make a payment for the product to be fulfilled when a customer places an order on your Shopify store. This payment can be made through PayPal, credit card, or debit card, depending on the payment options provided by your specific supplier. If you would like to have automatic fulfillment when someone places an order, I'd strongly recommend you go with Zendrop. They also have custom branding features, weekly coaching calls, and other awesome perks. Here's a link to Zendrop: zendrop.sjv.io/75BEDd Hope this helps! If you have any other questions, feel free to reach out :)
I really like the images you use for the product page, do you get someone to do your product photography? Should we do that too? Or could stock images work?
Hey, thank you so much! Great product images are very important. I've actually synced those images straight from my dropshipping supplier. If you are dropshipping and your supplier doesn't have very good images, then I definitely recommend ordering a sample of your product and shooting photos yourself. If you learn a bit about lighting, there is a lot you can do for free, with your phone. Though if you have a budget for something a bit more professional, then of course, I recommend going with a professional photographer for the best possible outcome! Stock images are great but only for other sections of your website- not your actual product images, as they don’t feature your products… You can also use AI tools to generate professional product photos by uploading an existing photo of your product! :)
I loveee the way you play with visuals when you create product pages. but I’ve got to ask, do you like decide on certain aesthetics before you start? Or do you make it up as you go? Because I can’t even decide the color palette to use at times! 😖
Hey! Thank you so much :) If you already have a vision for your brand, you can decide it beforehand. Though if you're not sure yet, you can start by exploring and seeing what looks right! Your color palette has everything to do with the brand character you want to convey. You'll learn everything about this in my Branding Guide, which you can download for free here: www.digitalsuccessjourney.com/opt-in
Hey ok so, do u have any suggestions about the correct language or the right words we should use for our products? I’m always lost when it comes to writing descriptions…:(
Hey! Yes, the correct language for your Shopify store will depend on your brand and the brand voice you want to go for. You'll learn everything about this in my free Branding Guide! You can download it here: www.digitalsuccessjourney.com/opt-in I also recommend using AI tools like ChatGPT to help you figure out your brand voice, depending on who your target audience is. Hey! You got a new subscriber! I'm interested in learning how to create and design a store for clients as a freelancer. Can you provide a brief guideline on how to get started and how to attract clients? Additionally, do you have an online community I can join or get in touch with as a student?
Hey, welcome, and thank you for subscribing! That's a great idea, to start I'd focus on learning the basics, there is the Shopify Academy, where you can have access to free resources and courses offered by Shopify to understand the platform thoroughly. I'd also recommend you to watch tutorials and read blogs focused on Shopify store creation and design. It's important to understand user experience and user interface design to create user-friendly stores. Then, you can design a few demo stores in different niches to showcase your skills and start building your portfolio. To attract clients, make sure to have a professional looking website, you can get clients with freelance websites like Upwork or Fiverr and start building your reputation, make sure your profile is detailed and showcases your skills effectively. Hey! The product pages are automatically mobile-friendly on Shopify, so there's nothing you need to do for this part. Though if you want to check, you can click on the mobile icon in the top right corner of your theme editor, and see if you want to make any small adjustments
Wow! Thank you for this. Please can you share details of the shopify apps that integrates reviews, or can it be done without the use of other apps? Also, is it compulsory that store owners share their contact details and location with shopify? If compulsory, can it be hidden?
Hey, you're welcome! If you are dropshipping, you could import reviews from your supplier using this Shopify app: apps.shopify.com/ali-reviews And if you are not dropshipping, you can search for 'Reviews' in the App Store and see which app you like best! Many of them offer free plans. Yes, you need to share your contact details with Shopify and you'll need to set a primary business address. Keep in mind that this address will be printed on your invoices from Shopify, not on invoices you might send to your customers. Hope this clarifies it. If you have any other questions, feel free to let me know :)
Hey there! Thank you for the recommendation. You can easily dropship from your phone; Shopify is incredibly capable. However, it will probably take you a bit longer to design a website on a phone. If you have any other questions, don't hesitate to ask :) Thanks for watching!
I have a question...I made my templates and they are working great (thank you by the way) but I need to be able to change the picture on each new page but it changes all my pictures for all my product pages. How can I fix it?
Hey! You're welcome, I'm glad you were able to create new templates! It sounds like an issue with the template assignment. You have to make sure you have assigned each product to its new, individual template. If all products are linked to the 'Default' template, you won't be able to see the customizations. Here's what you can do: 1. Go to 'Products' 2. Select one of your products you wish to have a custom page for 3. In the right side box, all the way down, you'll see 'Theme Template'. Make sure this doesn't say 'Default'. Here you have to choose the new template you created for this product. 4. Hit save 5. Repeat the process for each product. Let me know if this works out for you!
Hey there! You can use the built in Shopify translation. To use this feature, here are some step by step instructions: -Go to your Shopify dashboard -Click on 'Settings' on the bottom corner -Click on 'Markets' -Scroll to the bottom and here on the recommendations, Shopify will suggest to translate your store into different languages Using this option, you would need to create a market for each of the languages you want to translate. You can also use Shopify apps for this, I'd recommend you check out the following ones: 1. Transcy 2. Weglot 3. G | Translate They all provide free plans and will do what you're looking for. If you have any other questions, feel free to let me know :) Thanks for watching!
Hey there, you're welcome! I'm glad the video was helpful for you! Thanks for the thumbs up and the subscribe! All the best with your sales today :) If you have any questions at all, don't hesitate to reach out
Hey there! When you first create your online store, all of your product pages will be assigned to a 'Default Template'. And because this template is assigned to ALL products, if you make any edits to the content of any product page, it will apply to every other one. So if you want to create UNIQUE product pages, you'll need to create a product template for each one. Let me know if this answers your question! :)
Hey can you help me because I have a big gap between my product and product information such as when I add a new section there is a huge gap how do I remove the gap?
Hey there! To remove the gap, click on the section you want to adjust within the theme editor. Then, locate the padding setting in the bottom right corner and decrease it. Repeat this process for any section where you want to eliminate the gap. Hope this helps! If you have any other questions, feel free to reach out :)
Hey there! To create a custom product page, here are step-by-step instructions: 1. Create a template in the theme editor (make sure to name the template so you can see which one it is) 2. From the Shopify dashboard, go to 'Products' 3. Assign the template you created on step 1 on the product page of your chosen product Can you confirm you did all these steps?
Hey there! To change the image display style of your product, here are step by step instructions: 1. Go to your Shopify dashboard 2. Go to 'online store' and click on 'customize' to open the theme editor. 3. Click on 'products' > 'default product' 4. Click on "product information" on the left 5. Now on the right panel, you'll find multiple options for layouts under the media section 6. To get the same image layout as in the video, select 'thumbnail carousel' under 'desktop layout' Hope this helps! If you have any other questions, feel free to reach out :)
Hey there! Dropshipping works internationally. I recommend you check out this video on how to create a Shopify store: th-cam.com/video/zEWicVcBbeM/w-d-xo.html If you have any questions, feel free to let me know :)
Hey! To create a product template here's some step-by-step instructions: 1. From your Shopify dashboard, click on 'online store' 2. Click on 'customize' to open the theme editor 3. Now, inside the theme editor, in the top center of the screen, you'll see where you can select which page you are viewing. It should say 'home page' 4. Click on this and select 'product' 5. Now choose 'create template' and follow the instructions on this video If you have any questions, feel free to let me know :)
Hey! Yes, you can customize which products show up in the related products list. Here are the steps on how to do this: - Go to your Shopify dashboard - Go to ‘Apps’ in the side menu - Go to ‘Search & Discovery’ - In the side menu, click on ‘Recommendations Here you’ll find your list of products, and what products are recommended as ‘related’ products. Click on your items and edit them as preferred! You can have up to 10 recommended products per product page.
Hey there! Do you mean you don't have the related product section? You can simply click on 'Add section' in the left-side menu and select 'Related products'. If you don't have related products, you don't need this section-you can either delete it or hide it using the eye icon. If you have any other questions, feel free to let me know :)

Hey! You're welcome, I'm glad you were able to create new templates! It sounds like an issue with the template assignment. You have to make sure you have assigned each product to its new, individual template. If all products are linked to the 'Default' template, you won't be able to see the customizations. Hey! Yes, you can customize which products show up in the related products list. Here are the steps on how to do this:
- Go to your Shopify dashboard
- Go to ‘Apps’ in the side menu
- Go to ‘Search & Discovery’
- In the side menu, click on ‘Recommendations
Here you’ll find your list of products, and what products are recommended as ‘related’ products. Click on your items and edit them as preferred! You can have up to 10 recommended products per product page.

Hey! Are you getting traffic to your store, but they aren’t converting into customers, or do you not have enough traffic?
i dont have related products
Hey there! Do you mean you don't have the related product section? You can simply click on 'Add section' in the left-side menu and select 'Related products'.
If you don't have related products, you don't need this section-you can either delete it or hide it using the eye icon.
If you have any other questions, feel free to let me know :)
