Nerfing his work around for mighty charge was lame. And they released a cleanse champ(I think Jabari) very soon after he was released. Then several more cleanse champs. Effectively nerfing his dominance over skills. Then they made tech champs that could work around his long, tough to dodge specials. Still a beast, but, not the defender or attacker that he used to be. Hopefully some newer champs that can take advantage of his horseman ability come around.
He just needs to be a 7* and he is back in business. Also give him the ability to start with extra genetic code in BGs He's my favorite mutant in the game but has fallen off a lot

Seeing how so many champs have become obsolete because of battleground, it make me feel like they deserve a battleground tune up like spidey punk or serpent have... For apocalypse, it would make him begin with his 4 prowess and his immunities right from the start if in battleground. He still wouldn't be that great for bg, but clearly, it would make him viable.
i always wanted him as 6 star champ but when i found him i never ranked him, i don't know why but i don't feel like to rank him up. but he is still one of the unpredictable and dangerous defender in the game.
My thing with Apoc is that I only use him now for fighting Kingpin cuz of his purify ability accuracy reduction, rarely BGs and occasionally in War, but he mainly works on older purify champs like Elsa, Agent Venom, and I believe Crossbones. When I tried using him for newer champs like Zemo, Chee’ilth, and I believe Jabari Panther just doesn’t work, at least not when I tried.
Apoc is awesome, I still use him a lot. He's worth maxing out, he does so much and has insanely good synergies on top of it. AND the horseman buff!!! Which is amazing! Also I noticed, you aren't using the sp3 to lock in your debuffs. They also get +100% potency....so it's definitely worth doing in a long fight
As someone with rank 5 ascended cable who you kinda snubbed in this video lol apocalypse is still awesome as you've shown. I have apoc rank 5 ascended and as a pair they handle so much content and annoying defenders. Cable can can take so many fights with the apoc synergy its unreal how underrated cable is and can take abs man 😉 Great showcase either way
Maybe if he had his ability vs mutants, but also with skill champs. So get both debuffs with specials. Even if it’s maybe just one more charge/prowess instead of two. Or maybe ability “in battlegrounds, start with 4 charges” would be really good
He is still a great champ, just one drawback is he needs ramup Pros :- 1. Reduce defensive, offensive both ability accuracy by 70% 2. Reduce opponent attack by 50% 3. Immune to bleed, incinerate, disorient 4. Completely counters evade 5. Counters/reduce purify ability 6. With stryfe synergy he deals massive damage And on top of that his horseman ability 😘😘😘😘
He was mostly lost to cleanse, the Rise of the Techs, and the fact that synergies are less prominent and paths being shorter. So building up his charges and using the horsemen ability is not as useful either. And his damage isn't holding up these days solo.
Much like stryfe, I used to love this champ. Design and playing him was fun, and was very useful. Such a shame I now almost never use him. I hope they add some stuff for super ramp champs for bgs cuz their relevance would increase dramatically if they did.
pair him with Stryfe and see his specials scaling in damage every time you activate one. Even with a 5* ascended, you do crazy damage ... with a 6* R5, it's getting nuts. So still good for questing with high health pool defenders. Not everybody is BG and AW focused ...
He’s defo lost relevance but I don’t think he’s fallen off THAT much. I have an ascended R5 6 star and he’s great for fighting other mutants in BG’s. Still a questing king with stryfe and he’s pretty fun in incursions too. I think a couple small tweaks to his abilities and bringing him back as a 7 star would do wonders for him

Blade is the definition of not aging well, ghost is starting to lose popularity because no one wants to bring antman and wasp into a team just for synergy purposes, even the Magnetos are starting to lose relevance because all these new robots that counter their magnetism, but Apoc is losing relevance because he’s not a BG meta champs and is being over by like 2 mutants? At the end of the day, it’s an opinion based game.
I just did my first abyss path (just for fun) using only mutant champions with Apoc and Onslaught on the team, and a gotta say, the damage gap between them is insane, Onslaught obliterated some fights in there. Team: Apoc 6* (Rank 4) / Onslaught 6* (Rank 5 and ascended) / Professor-X 6* (Rank 4) / Stryfe 5* (Rank 5 and ascended) / Colossus 7* (Rank 1) Masteries: Full Suicides
@@edisonlaw934 something around 1 hour, i did it for fun and for the title, i didnt have quite fun because of the path i took, since were my first path i chose the common known path 1, and some fights in there were really painful, Captain Marvel Movie was the most dificult one, no one on my team could deal reasonably well with this fight, besides Onslaught by just going all in
@@edisonlaw934 probably not, he is a ramp up champion, even at the fight you need to ramp up his debuffs, if his DOT damage were stronger then maybe he could do something in there, mine was dealing 1.7k per tick (all boosts and suicides) with his debuffs, thats nothing compared to Kate and Shuri who can deal 20k per tick on their DOTs
Apoc was once a well regarded mutant and yeah he is kinda overshadowed now and hey I have few suggestions for you Warlock-only for actual aw and not questing damage is poor Stealth spidey - ppl chose others over him Shang chi- still great damage and utility but not in roster Bw Claire voyant - only grass mcoc plays her Void and overseer
His lack of damage in BGs and champs like Nimrod,etc made him irrelevant He is still pretty good outside of BGs and even in them can be a decent defender Once he becomes a 7* he will be back in Meta
I agree mutant class currently was at it's lowest onslaught did boost them up but still only one champ as of lately other classes like mystic and science have gotten way stronger with new additions while other mutants realsed before onslaught where a lot more focused on defense like dani moonstar, captain Britain etc though i would say apoc is still good but he benefits more with mutant synergys and boost mutants up like iam pretty sure ppl will use him more as soon as he is realsed as a 7* hopefully negasonic teenage warhead would be a good mutant but this is completely my personal opinion

If he start fight with his genetic code already active on him he will be good and he needs to not let opponens cleanse and purify debuffs then he is good
Hey hey hey. First off I’m going to unsub lol. I have used Apoc in many Masters wars, and he’s always in my BG deck and has won many matches. AQ I don’t need him but he’d work and I always used him in content.
Once hes released as 7 star his relevance will increase
that will be a very long time and you can say that for every 6* not available as a 7*

I think you got it better at the last part of the video when saying, it's mostly the downfall of the mutant class. Imo Apoc is still a top Mutant.
Now Apocalypse was pretty good in the Power Shield and Pokadot power meta he work insanely well

i still remember getting him as a 4* and took him to r3 and he was the only reason i was able to do 5.2.4 mesochism
The sp3 is also pretty useful it doubles the potency of all debuffs which makes the AAR 70% which is huge.
Apoc was actually really good in power shield meta it was one sp2 and the fight was over I’ve taken multiple weapon x’s with him
