The owners manual identifies capacity of 37 fl. oz. of 10W-30 oil. 5W-30 shouldn't hurt it but I wouldn't run it since its a big heat sink when running with only a small fan blowing air across it. That oil needs to be as heat resistant as possible. Full Synthetic would help too. The tool to remove the oil drain plug is called a socket or nut driver, and NEVER put the bolts back on directly with the drill/driver. Always thread them in a few turns by hand to be sure you are not cross-threaded before blasting them. You will save yourself a lot of pain and suffering if you follow this advice. Another tip - throw an old rag in the drain pan to avoid the oil splashing back out of the pan.

I had glanced through the owners manual and didn’t catch that, thank you for pointing that out and sharing all the tips. I appreciate you 🤝🫡

Would you recommend regular mobile oil or something like Honda power equipment 10w-30 that’s specifically for generators and lawnmowers?

@@johnmedina8323 as long as it’s the right oil, either one should work.
If it gives you a better peace of mind go for the Honda, if you want to save money chose the cheaper one or whatever is easiest accessible to you.
      All up to you

@@OQDetailing is that the aftermarket dipstick if so, do you feel like it catches all the debris that they say it does?

Great video, thank you for the details on removing the oil drain plug. Factory screws them on really tight and it's impossible to unscrew without a power tool. Using the drill bit extension is a great idea to get in that tight space!
