- It’s a sea of blue in Chicago to honor the life of slain police officer Ella French. Hundreds of officers from across the country saluted the first female Chicago cop to be killed in the line of duty in 33 years. Now her partner Carlos Yanez Jr., who was also critically wounded in the attack, is speaking out for the first time from the hospital, thanking supporters for their donations and prayers. He was shot in the eye and currently is paralyzed. He faces a long recovery.

There was a story about the two brothers own mother demanding to see her son when by law if a criminal is sent to the hospital,police need to be on standby in order to question said criminal. I can't believe the nerve of the major showing up to the funeral. This past year she has sided AGAINST the police and has allowed this to happen.

It really hit him because I am only a couple years younger than her and am also adopted.
