I'm so happy these guys are back. This was what I listened through middle school. Ha They have an amazing talent. And for all the kids trying to make an argument about what bands are better, you know it does not even matter? All of the statements are invalid sense they are only opinions anyway. This is coming from someone who listens to mostly bands like acacia strain and lionheart. It's all preference. Don't like it? Don't worry about it and leave the page.
honestly any band that got signed is a great band, chill, ten got signed twice now... thats how great their music is... rock, emo, punk, screamo, who gives a fuck... music to the soul. fuck the petty shit, life is too sweet to make it sour.
They make sense the the writer, that's the main thing. As for everyone else, it is up for them to make their own interpretation. This is the point of good, personal, and intricate lyrics. For me it is so much better than lyrics that are generally relatable and simple. And from the artists perspective I'm sure it will hold a lot more meaning to the band down the road than something more easily comprehensible would.
i fucking love this band. rooms too cold was one of the greatest albums back in the day. i didnt even no this was coming out and boom i hear this track. so good
You'll never know how much this band has been through. They're more experienced and have been in the music business longer than most of the bands on Rise.
Or because people in the TEN generation don't sit on a computer all day checking for youtube videos of bands they listened to. Most TEN fans from back 5-6 years ago when they broke up are older, probably in college minimum or married and working full-time, etc. Bet you majority of them don't even know TEN is back together and is putting out a new record.
right now in this time, talent artists does not compare to popular artist. Who ever is good looking is popular and who ever has a great band and looks decent is no where to be seen.
MMF is another Rise band. They are very talented just like TEN but their sound is more southern post hardcore. You should check out their new album, Challenger. It's amazing :D
This is my favorite song off of In Currents, I love Ace Enders. You can read my review if you google "A Lemurs Perspective" and check the first result!
Grow your hair out boy. Let me see you smile. Here we go again, Messing with my head. I'm frayed in doubt. Lay me out over a burning fire And it burns like glacier melt To a polar bear headed south. Fighting for the shore. Praying I don't swallow, To much of the mess I've been floating in. I'm frayed in doubt. Lay me out over a burning fire And it burns like glacier melt To a polar bear headed south. Just float along, you won't be alone. We're all going down the same lonely road. Just float along, you won't be alone. We're all going down the same lonely road. Just float along, you won't be alone. We're all going down the same lonely road. Lay me out over a burning fire And it burns like glacier melt To a polar bear headed south.
I don't understand what the big deal is between MMF and TEN, I mean I love Memphis May Fire but I also like this song as well and The Early November has a cool sound so can't people just like both without any fuss over it?
nah the real point is simple. Rise Records listeners consists mostly ("mostly", i don't want to stereotype anyone) of people who like scene metalcore which is why Memphis May Fire is drawing more views.
You're just as arrogant as the kid you replied to. He said there is a reason, and a perfectly valid one. I like this song, first time I've ever heard of this band in fact, but I'm trying to figure out what meaning this song has. Maybe I can't see the language in the lyrics, but from what I'm reading in the description, it's just words.
People who measure popularity by youtube views are stupid. I bought this album at hot topic a week ago just cause I liked the cover. I liked it a lot and listen to this song on my CD player (I bought it to listen to the music I like in CD quality). All those times I listen to it could be counted towards visiting this page and adding views to it but that's just dumb. So what if other bands have a million views. There's a lot of people who buy CD's or digital copies on itunes that are uncounted.
why? i find bands that have un-subtle lyrics are boring and get old. At least these lyrics you can listen to over and over and contemplate what they mean to you. great song btw
This is #1, instrumental, lyrics, voice, all so good together
I used to listen this song a lot when I was 18, I am 26 now. Found it in one of my old hard drives. Underrated song, underrated band!
Still going ha
I seriously love this song. on repeat 24/7
The acoustic version of this is gold as well!!
Same here. Feels so good to have these guys back in my speakers with new music.
Dude, I am wreckingggg this replay button, I can't get enough of this song. So freaking glad they're back, they play the soundtrack to my life
I'm so happy this band is back, I got really into them in 6-8th grade, and Have been hoping for new material for a while.
They always kill it and will always be one of my most favorite bands!
so glad I discovered this band
I like it. Alot! Never hear of them before, but I can't wait to hear whats on the new album.

Freaking amazing! Definitely some of the best music on Rise!
honestly any band that got signed is a great band, chill, ten got signed twice now... thats how great their music is... rock, emo, punk, screamo, who gives a fuck... music to the soul. fuck the petty shit, life is too sweet to make it sour.
Alvin Keota amen brother
the song is blended well like a good frappe tea
Watched this live at warped, he was like a lion up there. One of the best singers out there
Only listened to this album in 2014... fuck I missed out on two years.
Guitar tones and playing reminds me so much of Small Brown Bike!

Right? i use to listen to them when i was 15 and i'm 25 now! Oh nostalgia! God damn good band though!
Sounds great! Never heard of them.
Finally some new Early November stuff.
7th chords everywhere!
i fucking love this band. rooms too cold was one of the greatest albums back in the day. i didnt even no this was coming out and boom i hear this track. so good
This sounds really amazing, And I am mainly a deathcore fan. But damn.. This sounds perfect. Instruments, Singing, And even the record quality XD
You'll never know how much this band has been through. They're more experienced and have been in the music business longer than most of the bands on Rise.
AHHH THE EARLY NOVEMBER IS BACK
Personally I love the lyrics. It's obscure yet uses imagery enough to set the mood.
This song is so freaking amazing. These guys are so amazing. Hot damn.

Quoting you. "Popularity does not equate quality music." Thank you
New favorite song!
Went to see Alesana play on 10-25-2012 and Dennis Lee was wearing The Early November's shirt. So...Idk about you guys but that is just epic :D
MY FAVORITE!!!
awesome stuff.. ace will be making music for a long time.

ผมไปอยู่ไหนมา ...ดีใจที่ได้ฟังวงนี้

This is great, love it.

Or the record label itself... first real CD release on Rise was in 2000. TEN has been relevant since 1999.
yup, just went from 6 to midnight for sure.
Theres a reason this only has 7000 views and the new Memphis May Fire song has been out for less time and has almost 400,000
the song is beautiful
Memphis May Fire is my favorite band, but this is way rad also! I wish people were more open minded when it comes to music now days.
Well said, Friend.
the artistry of TEN is not measured in views on TH-cam, if people feel like I do, TEN creates something beyond just music
This is my favorite song off of In Currents, I love Ace Enders. You can read my review if you google "A Lemurs Perspective" and check the first result!

Ace Enders is the Fucking boss. Great vocalist and lyricist.
@ReemeRocks MMF as in Memphis May Fire?
too good
I don't understand what the big deal is between MMF and TEN, I mean I love Memphis May Fire but I also like this song as well and The Early November has a cool sound so can't people just like both without any fuss over it?
At first, I laughed at how the simile he used with the polar bear sounded but then I thought about it and now I feel bad for the polar bears...
This guy is the real deal, you can tell by how he spells his username and real name differently.
#lovetheearlynovember
make sure you try out the mother the mechanic the machine if you havent already
nah the real point is simple. Rise Records listeners consists mostly ("mostly", i don't want to stereotype anyone) of people who like scene metalcore which is why Memphis May Fire is drawing more views.
This album reminds me of TSL’s “Direction”
Ace Enders for the win
wow ya no sabia nada de esta banda :O
To me this is the Polar Bear Heading South song
Fucking love it!! Do y'all feel his emotions in your chest like I do?
Don't exactly know the meaning of the words, but I know it sounds damn good when he sings them.
"Everyone just look in a different direction and smile"
Gooooood I love "TEN
I love you.

are you saying memphis may fire isnt a good band?
True dat.

'I frat in doubt' lol

Just saying: In Currents has received far better reviews than Challenger did, both from critics and listeners.

@endlesspossibilityos I agree sub you.
LOL dude, MMF is the best band ever
Yea, there really is no comparison. Apples to oranges friends, apples to oranges...
this song takes me half way to a chub.
Because most good music is under-appreciated?
why would you, compare Memphis may fire and the early novemer, there obviously two different Genres.
SpacedOutZbo yooo, that sianvar tho
I have to wonder what these songs would sound like if Drive Thru Records was still around.
😍🥰😘
LAY ME UUUUUUUUUUP.
You just can't compare anthrax to this, they're different genres.
Call of the bells is a fucking awsome song...
LOL yeah right...
Fucking fantastic
you spelled your name wrong
it's called band wagon
Daddy, Nick Canon's hilarrrious.
why? i find bands that have un-subtle lyrics are boring and get old. At least these lyrics you can listen to over and over and contemplate what they mean to you. great song btw
