Magic moment of the season should be John's clearance for sure. Yeah, Shaun's 147 was also great, but let's be fair, many snooker fans didn't even watched it live, just rewatch it in rec later. And anyway it wasn't any close that tense and exciting as black ball decider at WC.
Disagree, John's clearance was great but moments like that do happen not that rarely. Remember Jack's clearance against Murphy in the British Open? Or Luca's clearance against Dott in the Welsh Open? Or Mark Williams' clearance that was nominated here as well? All great, tense clearances, John's moment was just elevated because it was the Worlds and a decider, and John's a fan favourite. But the clearance itself wasn't really 1 in a million unlike Shaun's 147 that is like never to be repeated again.

Zhang Anda started the season ranked 60th and finished it ranked 11th. I'd say he deserved it.
Okay, so Jak Jones got to the world final, but was quiet for the rest of the season. As breakthroughs go, you'd have to say that Zhang Anda in the grand scheme of things has played like a top player and consistently proved why he is now a top sixteen player. Okay, he didn't do it in the world championship, but I don't think that that really takes away from his breakthrough. Jak Jones got to the world final, but we knew how capable he was after last year, and in the context of the whole season, it wasn't as big a breakthrough as it was for Zhang Anda.
Well done Sir Ronnie O'Sullivan -Player of the year award. The best player there is, and there will ever be GOAT 🐐

The second day of the final wasn't great, but the award goes to Kyren's performs in that entire tournament. Up to and including the first day of the final, he was fantastic. The award should've really gone to part-time pool player and golfer Williams though, for slaughtering the top 3 at the Tour Championship.

The player of the season should have gone to Trump. 5 ranking event wins, 2 Runner ups, and runner-up in C&C. Ronnie won 3 ranking events, Masters and then that Golden Ball event and runner-up in the Tour Championship. I guess Judd knows he will overtake the 41 Ranking Event record. My guess is that he will do it before he reaches 40.
I disagree, because O'Sullivan won the more important events, lost very few matches and beat Trump twice.
winning 2 triple crowns is always going to trump (pun intended) 5 ranking events. The only way trump at that point could win the player of the season was by winning the world championship. I do agree that trump will eventually take the record for most ranking event wins, but it will be more than 41 when he gets there as ronnie will win more.
