Those runs are quite old now, but IIRC Cyclops and Magneto have quite a hard time with bosses late in the game, making a 1 character run especially challenging. Wolverine is the obvious easiest choice because of his regeneration power, and Gambit makes for an all-around good candidate, more because of his staff's range than his cards actually. Beast, Nightcrawler and Psylocke requires the player to adapt to their specific gameplay but they proved efficient. Between them I'd rank Beast as the easiest and Nightcrawler as the hardest character for a solo run, even if my taste goes for the later purely for warp fun. Then again, those are long memories now, and TH-cam unfortunately deleted all annotations on which I had detailled my impressions back then... I may be very mistaken on all this now haha
@OldSchoolBobby For me, Wolverine is the best. He's the only character with whom I can beat entire game. Some characters deal better with SOME things, but they can't deal with everything. Also, Wolverine is super fast. I love that.
