    It's weird that you only added criticisms for capitalism, but not most others

      Gotcha, didn't mean to single out capitalism like that! Thanks for pointing it out - I'll keep it more even-steven in the future. Cheers for the feedback! 🚀

    It's very hard to express many of those complex ideologies in one single video, but I'd say you did a great job! (The editing was great too)
    That being said, I'd like to share a couple of thoughts about this:
    -Some of the concepts are probably banalized, but this is absolutely normal considering the simple nature of the explanations;
    -I feel kinda weird with calling some of the theories you mentioned "political ideologies". For example, I'm not sure capitalism falls into that definition.
    I mean, it definitely has many political consequences but on its own, capitalism is an economic system that is embraced by some other ideologies like liberalism. Corporatism, syndicalism and some definitions of socialism also have the same problem.
    This is not a big deal on its own but it leads me to my next thought;
    -Since many definitions could be grouped in some larger cathegories (like green politics/environmentalism, or fascism/nazism which are specific forms of authoritarianism) it could be cool to have similar ideologies grouped together, in order to make it easier to follow and, generally speaking, more schematic.
    I hope these consideration aren't gonna be useless. Keep up the good work!

      Hey, thanks a ton for taking the time to share your insights! Tackling such a buffet of ideologies in one go is a bit like trying to summarize the entire internet in a tweet - a tough gig for sure! 😄 And cheers for the shoutout to the editing team; they rocked it!
      You're spot on with your observations:
      -Definitely, some nuances got the short end of the stick to keep things digestible. It's a bit of a tightrope walk between detail and digestibility, but I'm all for finding that sweet spot.
      -You've raised a really thoughtful point about classifying capitalism and the like as "political ideologies" versus economic systems. It's kinda like calling tomato a vegetable when it's technically a fruit - context matters, and your point about the interplay between economic systems and political ideologies is well taken.
      -Grouping similar ideologies? That's a brilliant idea! It's like organizing a playlist by mood or genre - makes for a smoother experience. We'll definitely think on how we can categorize things more intuitively to keep the info flowing and easy to grasp.
      Your feedback's far from useless - it's pure gold! It’s feedback like yours that keeps the gears turning and the improvements coming. Looking forward to making the next video even better with your suggestions. Keep those thoughts coming, and thanks again for your support! 🌟

    you made some easily fixible mistakes on some of these, but over all it was fairly accurate, not much bias, well done.

      Absolutely, I get what you're saying! Packing all those ideologies into a 14-minute video is like squeezing an elephant into a fridge, isn't it? 😄 Thanks for pointing out those slips - I'm on it! And big thanks for recognizing the effort to keep it balanced. Let's aim for even better next time. Cheers! 🚀

    As an ancap I am offended that you only talked about communism for most of the video.
    Jokes aside, this is fairly accurate and delivers what was promised.

      Ah, looks like I got a bit carried away with communism, huh? My bad for not spreading the love to ancap territory! 😅 Really glad to hear you found the video mostly on point, though. Thanks for keeping it chill with your feedback - promise to mix it up more next time. Cheers for watching and dropping a comment! 🚀

    1:08 You don't even necessarily have to be a moderate or a centrist in order to be "non-ideological". Just sayin' 😏

    • @ThePaintbrushParadigm
      @ThePaintbrushParadigm  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thanks for pointing that out! You're totally right 😊 - being 'non-ideological' isn’t just about sitting on the fence or sticking to the middle ground. It's more about keeping an open mind 🧠 and not letting any single ideology blind us to other perspectives. It's cool to have strong beliefs 💪, but also cool to listen and learn from everywhere. It's all about staying curious 🕵️‍♂️ and being ready to question our own views, right? Really appreciate your insight on this 👍. Keeps the conversation fresh and interesting. Let's keep that open dialogue going! 🗨️

      You main point that you don't need to be a centrist to be pragmatic is correct, but the term "non-ideological" is wrong.
      Everyone has an ideology. An ideology is a set of believes (ethical and empistemic) that build your world view.
      For instance being against murder is an ideology (killing is wrong would be the principle). Technically you don't need an ideology but this idea id highly theoretical and pretty much everyone has an ideology.

      @@rosenkohl5675 *Everyone has an ideology. An ideology is a set of believes (ethical and empistemic) that build your world view.*
      😆Wrong. Ideologies are nothing but social constructs. There's nothing natural about having a set of beliefs that people have created over time. What a joke.

      @@americanliberal09No that is just clearly wrong. Do you know what a social construct is? It is a phenomenon that emerges because of society. An example would be marriage, they really only make sense if their is a large group of people who have a similar relationship with another person. That means if you would be living in a forest you would not have a marriage but a relationship with certain attributes (You could argue that marriages are not a social construct but I think you, get my point. Marriages are a concept that really only work in societies)
      Now to your claim:
      You say that ideology is a social cobstruct. Yes and no. Yes because, an ideology is inherently sociological because claims things about societies and the world. No because you ideology is not dependent on society: you think murder is bad regardless of participation in society. It is something that you believe because of you ethical position.
      But know we have to adress the point that you technically don't need an ideology. I'll phrase it like this: If you ethical and epistemiological positions can be all explained by underlying principles (utilitarianism, rationalism, virtue ethics... not something like morality (common ethical positions of society) or intuition (not the philosophical term)) then you have ideologies regardless of society.
      Probably a lot of typos in there but tbh idc and english is not my first language.

      🙂Yes, i do know what it is.
      *No because you ideology is not dependent on society: you think murder is bad regardless of participation in society. It is something that you believe because of you ethical position.*
      😆Yes, it is, because ideologies are dependent on people's standards. Ideologies don't occur naturally within humans. They were developed artificially.

      😏Ah. But too bad that not everybody has those underlying principles to abide by.
