Been running the 15 for a few months and ive never had the quality and authority ive got now from any other set up. Just flat out loud, crisp and windy! Actually hurts the ears at 2/3rds volume in a single cab truck😅
The problem with this subs is the amount of power they need to get loud. I love my Xv3 12 and the NSv4 15 but I also love how my L715 sounds with not even half of that power, different categories, but still impressive, not the less.
I heard that B 2 audio from Steve Meade is an awesome company to get audio products from my friend. I trust his judgment on it when you actually hear them play.
Yes! This brand is not new. They have been around for a while and have won a lot of competitions.. even though they were not available in the US for sometime people love them so much they kept buying them from Europe because I kept seeing him at USA car competitions all the time.
It will work but over all it’s better to have a bigger amp that gives you more head room I feel like it sounds better and the amp works less and you’re far from clipping I have a 8.5k on 2 of these only giving them 2000w on normal music and going big helps with the impedance rise bigger the motor, the more resistance it will create
Have you demo the Rampage? I have a 15 rampage xvm3 and thinking of running it instead of my 2 12 DD 9512 SC. I did a 148.8 with the 2 12's but box tuned to 30hz. I have been told that the 15 can produce better numbers and will play lower than the DD 12's.
nice review! yes, the thing pushes hard and loud! i'm completely satisfied with mine! i really like the fact that it has this short punch! how many liters does your speaker have and where is the tuning frequency? please also state whether gross or netto volume. Mine have 88 liters netto, FB on 32 HZ. The thing is so loud that I now have to upgrade my front. I want to install a DSP and am thinking about installing the Marts BTX8-DSP if it is available in Germany. Unfortunately my car has such a shitty signal, and the tweeter runs over the radio, do you know if the summing function is good? What would you recommend as a 2nd/3rd way system? up to approx. 400 €? thanks for your content! always appreciated!
Very nice. It's a gorgeous looking sub. When you were doing the SPL test what be nice to see is how much power your feeding the woofer. 👍 I could be wrong but wasn't you that said the Sundown X was the Beez Neez❓
Sundown x is amazing but this sub has a totally different sound than an x. So two totally different sounding subs but both are freaking amazing depending on what sound you prefer.
As long as you don’t crank them and just play them very conservatively. Also set your amp gain correctly so you aren’t sending them a clipped signal from the little amp.
very nice but out of my price range. i have paid big money in the past 500 back in 98 thats $998 today. i think the old ways were just as good as today. 2 8 ohm 12's running 4 ohm on a 750 watt amp was killin the game. ahh the good old daze.....
The specs have the box smaller on the sheet...do you think it will perform as well in the recommended volume with the same tuning 32 hertz.....2.25cf tuned to 32 hertz? Trying to figure out a way to get that in my truck...i have the airspace but not the mounting depth, at least, not without some trickery.
@@HiFiVector exactly what i was thinking....i have 3.20 cubic feet gross so i can make that happen if i can get the depth figured out. I have 11" in front and 8" in the back and im not a fan of down fire subs in crew cabs....the hit is to firm if that makes sense. ive been playing around with DC Audio shortie subwoofers and those sound pretty good not great but pretty good for $225.....but these look the business to me. I have the Rampage 8" X2 vented right now and that sub sounds great....very musical i used a single 4" port and gave each sub 1.0 cubic feet...when i get to 3/4 volume it gets to loud on the port so i think its actually to big at a single 4" aero....im gonna build another box at .75 per with the 7.75" per sub so 15.50 slot port and see what happens....this 8" driver is a player for sure...this thing is built very very well.
As long as you are not clipping the amp I mean you can run it one a 1k amp. Won’t be optimal but won’t hurt it as long as it’s setup correctly. I would say minimum to get the performance out of it 3k

what power & box did you have? I have 2 Rage 12 V2 and these are one of the best subs I have heard. Was going to do sundown x or Deaf bonce 3012r but went with B2 and am so impressed Then again the rage xl is double what I paid for mine so I get it lol They are to expensive but worth it in my opinion. Very loud and musical!
Beautiful sub but it's a waste of wire to go any bigger than the gauge of tinsel leads. You want the same exact current flow throughout the entire signal. Using larger wire doesn't accomplish anything except spending more money.
@@zazz69ed Ok so if you look at the tinsel leads, I'd say they equal about 8-10 gauge at most. So using bigger speaker is like a flowing river hitting a damn once the signal hits the leads. I hope that explains it.
the only difference is they use multiple leads so that is why people use bigger wires. Me personally I am rmgping to be running 10g gauge speaker wire to my 2 rages I have. The ones I have are the v2 where these are the v3
LIES! Maybe JL in the sq realm, but no, B2 is easily in the top 5 sql/spl brands. They had world records in the not to distant past. A kicker solo x might top this sub, but that's kinda the only kicker in the same league as B2s lineup... IMO
Kicker has some really good subs, but really only has one monster sub, the SoloX. The SoloX is the real deal. JL audio are more SQ and they have good equipment. Skar has the best bang for the dollar. Theirs a lot of great subwoofers out there, you just have to give them a try.

Are these the same model that SMD uses in his Tahoe?
I want a pair of those 33" subs so bad.....you should do a giveaway or raffle for a pair of the 33's
@txddyfarquh3916 he uses the top dogs. The Ranpage 12. The mere weight of that is about x2 of the Rage
Looks very pretty 😍

Yea they really are this sub sounds incredible
Better than sundowns??
They have the best engineer in the business designing all there stuff

Can't wait for you to try the Rampage 12, would love to hear your thoughts on it compared to the Rage 12.
Been thinking about switching out my sundown U-12 for this… I have never heard a bad review on the rage line! Great video bro
Thanks! Yea subs are awesome.
Still waiting for an RS Platinum review....
You need to test the deaf bonce 302 12. Sounds so clean and great for $359
B2 has great stuff
Awesome review, B2 Audio has outstanding products.
Outstanding review! I love my Rampage Elite
One thing that I personally really don't like about this sub ..... I don't have one 😂😂😂
B2 for the win 🏆

I don't know my rage rage xl 12 inch was sensitive it was moving a lot with a little power .
These subs have a high sensitivity so they should not need much to get loud
@@smurfeco2.358how much power do you think is required for daily use on the rage 12? Thanks!
good review, I watched whole video like 4 times 😃, I wish there was a review like this for the b2 rage 15 as well 😩

I've been eyeing the Harmony Monolith 12 🤔 heard some good things about it
Check out the Stereo Integrity SQL
I have the 10 inch version. They use a cheaper basket on the 10s and no carbon dust cap but they are pretty nice and sounded great
Do they make these subs in 10 inch?
What’s the model and power rating I like it…
Thank you for the awesome review
Nice would u happen to have the cut sheet to that box I wouldn't mind trying this out in my Cadillac Escalade

@HiFiVector is the sound worth the almost double in price of a resilient sounds gold v2 or platinum?
Just depends on what you like and what it’s worth to you. These B2 hit harder and are cleaner but the RS are very good so just depends.
I want to see you test a 12 inch DB G7
Great job explaining! Do you know how this compares to the b2 rage xl? Or what the main difference would be? I’m trying to decide between the two
