This time was so much more fun. We are able to see due to the rain. Last time was so dusty, Tanja could not see me with the camera. LOL! She is awesome.
I have know idea what u-tube is doing but I didn’t get your video of it going up till now so I have missed lots of your videos before this one mate and yes I do follow you as you know but I you and your wife and family are all doing well mate Joe from England Great Britain thanks again mate.
Looking good. Glad you're able to get some work done without the dust. Now you have to get it all finished before the rain and snow starts starts flying.
Cool video enjoyed watching since ur all ears for tips an tricks I'm a logger and arborist maybe this will help you out. when u said about taking all the big trees out cause they might will fall on your cabin the building is strong enough normally the trees shouldn't damage it at that size too much I've done a lot of trees that fell on house and 70 percent of the jobs the house remains fine, but if you're worried about storms taking them down if there's a freak storm and it's likely your cabin would be destroyed from something other than a tree just a thought to keep in mind before you take out all your trees , what s good for the logs is to get off the ground higher the better
I stack my logs on runners to keep them off the ground. I don't want trees over my structures. I have seen too many cut homes in half. A good example is my hometown of Dresden, TN. A tornado came through, knocking trees over houses. The houses were intact other than the tree strike. This was repeated many times in just that one day.
You seem to still have a lot of leaves on your trees there. At our place in SE Kentucky, all the the leaves are down except the oaks & autumn olive . That mulcher sure does a good job!
My Question: Why do some people, to make the wedge cut, cut the smile down and other make the smile up??? I would think to save the log from being uneven on the trunk end they you would put the smile cut down then the first log would always be straight across cut???
It is physically harder to cut a smiley face down. You have to pull the saw's weight up in addition to enough pressure to cut. I am not into production so I don't care about the little bit of loss. I care about the strain it puts on my upper back.
Hi, you were using an electrical (on battery) chainsaw. Since a while, you don't use it. Is it dead or not enough power ? Can you do a review ? Thanks.
@@TonysTractorAdventure , I have the 6ft version. My property looks a lot like yours. You would love it. It’s an absolute beast. I’ve been making trails and fire breaks with it lately, but cleared about 5 acres of my place with it when I first bought it. I’ve taken down 8-10” sweet gums they look like they’ve been cut with a saw. Been looking at getting a new TYM 5835 to run mine.
I understand now. You make split decisions and judgments based on feelings and not facts. I am cutting down trees and cleaning up my forest after a tree company cut the timber 20 years ago leaving havoc. I am also clearing building spots on my land for future use. Instead of wasting the trees, I use them to make building materials for future buildings. Where ever you live now, it had trees and wildlife before your home was built no matter the size. When you tear your house down, trees and wildlife will come back. If you are renting a place to live, you are paying someone to keep the trees and wildlife back. I am working to live among the wildlife and protect it. We cut away the invasive plants which man brought and let the native plants have a chance to grow. You are much worse for the environment. I manage my forest. Did you know the electricity you use is product on a location that once had wildlife and trees. The stores you shop at were once forest with wildlife. You are paying people to keep wildlife away. When wildlife comes with a chainsaw, it will be at your doorstep.
Truly love this channel,
Thank you.
Gizmo snarling at the chainsaw .....lol. 😄 Good job Tony! 👍🪵🪵
Gizmo is always there in the thick of it. He always comes running to check on me after a tree falls down. That dog is my buddy.
The camera operator is very professional. And the assistant (Gizmo) supervises expertly. LoL. Bob. New Zealand.

It happened to me too. I missed a few of my friends videos.
Looking good. Glad you're able to get some work done without the dust. Now you have to get it all finished before the rain and snow starts starts flying.
We will work through the cold wet stuff. I will miss the warm weather.
Enjoyed this video Tony and Tanja.
Thank you Terry! We will get our woods in shape.
We have finally gotten much needed rain! Now you won't choke on dust.
Yes, sir, it was such a pleasure
Great video thanks Tony and Tanya
I appreciate you.
Nice work.
Thank you,
Nice job. You are making great progress
One step at a time. I love this stuff.
Tony I love your tree mulcher that is so cool
I will have to say it has become my favorite.

looked like a great job to me.Enjoy the videos that you put out.
Thank you. It was a good day.

That mulcher sure does a good job!
That was several weeks ago. The mulcher is awesome.
That brush cutter does a number on trees for sure.
This one is a true forestry mulcher. It is awesome
Nice job Tony!👍🏻
Thank you. We are moving forward.
I'm not a trained audiologist but I have heard that hearing protection works better when it's actually covering your ears 😅
Could be:👍
Gizmo tickles me. He definitely doesn't like the chainsaw and tree felling as he snarled at 15:20.
He makes me laugh. It is the smell. He turns his nose up when I pick up a chainsaw.

It is not meant to cut trees like this. I still have it at my other property. It works great still, just not for cutting down 30" trees. 👍
Could you run this with your 25 ho tractor or does it have a minimum you can have on it?
Its minimum is 25hp. It weighs 1000 pounds. That could get me in trouble on hills.
@@TonysTractorAdventure thank you!
Where did you get the forestry mulcher? How much?
All the information is in the description except the price. Due to our reach, I don't talk about costs.
Have you looked at a Brown Tree Cutter?
I have never heard of them. I looked at their website. Good looking stuff.

Is destruction your purpose of life?
About the same amount as you.
If the wildlife had a chain saw I know what they would do to your constructs.
