Good job Marc, the toolchangers regularly get overlooked. And they are such a critical component for productivity. Your videos get me excited for my own vf1 which is to be delivered soon. It will certainly need some loving!

@@kinzy_fabrications cheers, when i get the vf1 in and running nicely ill tear into the tool changer on my bridgeport 720x, it's an interesting design in comparison with the haas carousel as it's a chain driven carousel that drops pneumatically. Unlike the haas bridgeport have sweet feck all in regards to spares and I have a few damaged segments 🥲 so there will be fabrication or machining afoot!
The Tool Carousel Plate came up really nice. When you start seeing things looking so good, it makes you think about what can I do for the rest of machine 🤔 That was my mistake 😁 I started off with a basic clean up, but when I got carried away ???
Yeah I agree My other vfoe needs the doors and carousel plate doing so that might get done in the future, I think the vf3 will be fine once the rest is properly cleaned inside At least for now anyway lol
Could you post the part number for the bearings in the umbrella? I'm pulling mine apart in the next month and I'd like to have parts on hand before it comes apart

The colorcodes are ral 7035/7042 on the older machines, ral 7035/Federal Standard 595c 16081 on the newer
