- The Mini-Mushroom is a very strange power-up. It makes Mario tiny, it makes him die in 1 hit and it basically makes his life harder! It does allow you to reach special mini-pipes, but what if we tried to beat the entire game being Mini-Mario only? Well at least Mario’s eyes don’t disappear like in the DS game
I put off watching this for a while because I had every confidence the answer was "yes". The Mini Mushroom is Easy Mode because it makes you jump farther, higher, get shortcuts, evasion is easier & bosses take the same amount of hits.
Regular Mario already dies in 1 hit & the time loss to Ground Pounds is negligible.
Still, nice challenge! Good work, & Happy New Year, NicoBBQ!
