Hey Jim, The very classy congratulations is much appreciated. It’s not easy to be so gracious in defeat. However, UTex won’t have many L’s to worry about. Sark is a great coach and there is a ton of talent to be had in Texas - I lived in Houston for nine years - HS football is scary healthy and good in TX. Loses do happen in the SEC, even to great teams. I suspect we will meet again this year. Good luck until then!

We always have a chance with this man leading us. Hell of a win tonight. Kirby said all 3 phases after the game but really it was all 4 phases. Offense, defense, STs, and COACHING. Great job by the entire team.
There should have been at least two or three penalties on the bottle throwing yet refs let the fans endangered players, coaches. This is the worst officiating of any games I watched this year. Refs were out of control. Someone should be repremended for their incompetence.

Texas has never had problem with fan conduct. and although texas fans are fickle, they are generally respectul to all but OU! ❤As a Tide fan, I have the greatest respect for Kirby! As for him calling out the Officiating not even Sark could deny those calls look quite bias towards Texas. And I also have much respect for Sark. Georgia and Texas are truly blessed having these coaches.

What happened to the play before the failed 4th and 1 call? ETN rolled over a defenders body beyond the line of gain. That was a first down that the refs robbed. Should've never been a 4th and 1 play to begin with.

They just had an update on the bottle incident - a $250,000 fine and the officials will use everything they can from the camera views to see who's responsible and they will be banned for the rest of the academic year. In my opinion, the fine should be higher and the ban permanent. That was ridiculous and dangerous to everyone who was on the field
How was one of Etienne's TD's not a TD? Replays showed the ball crossing the goal line well before his knees or forearm hit the ground. His HAND hit palm side down but that's supposed to be ok. This is the call that I thought was downright TERRIBLE, but I haven't seen it discussed.

He was talking about the length of time after the over turn, and some of the rules the officials bent to overturn it at the point they were at. Granted, that PI call was awful. The pick was clean. But those refs gave the whole stadium whiplash and their incompetence endangered our players.

This SEC media deal is showing the most dangerous consequence of greed--the loss of a (somewhat) honest game. I'm a fan for UGA and can root for an underdog but there's a limit to blatant illegality. That was the game versus Texas. The refs cheated. It's a non-reversable call. 2 weeks ago Dan Lanning put 12 men on the field purposely to burn clock against Ohio State. Oregon won the game. That rule has been changed. The clock still runs now. It took 48 hours to change that. It was legal though. I think all teams should be informed before the game WHO THEY ARE PLAYING. Is it also the officials now?

I think these NIL deals are terrible for the game. Players arent as hungry as before with millions now in their pockets.
