Mera is potentially deadly as hell. If she can control liquids, imagine the damage she can do to an enemy if she decided to solidify their blood as it runs through their veins, or if she made the moisture in their bodies turn into deadly pieces of ice. OMG, the possibilities are just horrific.

hank412 sounds like a great experience! It’s always interesting to be reminded of how much scarier someone like Black Manta would be from a kid’s perspective than an adult perspective. And Black Manta is already pretty intimidating for us.

Everything about it is awesome, from Arthur saving that little girl from the falling bell and rescuing the father from the debris that was pinning him down, to Mera's turning wine into daggers to the brutal way in which Arthur took care of Manta. My goodness, no wonder this film grossed a billion dollars...

The best thing about Mera is that she is not the typical lady in danger, and she gives us very good action scenes. I wish that in the next movie, James Wan will show how she teaches Aqualad to use the powers.

Earlier in the fight (this video is part 2), Black Manta actually stabs him in roughly the same spot with Atlantean steel, which I chose to think of as a wonderful example of attention to detail. But I do like what you're suggesting, in a sort of... daydreaming-fan way. (If that makes sense?)

He stabbed him ealier with the atlantian blade which opened a spot, he just stabbed him in the same spot with his fathers dagger
@@yasirjso3801 Aquaman had been shot by a grenade launcher and there is no wounds whatsoever. So we can assume that after he was cut by the Atlantean blade, he regenerated quickly.
@@josesyguia he doesn't regenerate that quickly, the grenade didn't penetrate his skin it just knocked him out though given everything we've seen him take, it shouldn't have. That was mainly done for dramatic/comedic effect
@@obineux6259 If you are saying he can't regenerate quickly, how was he able to stand up almost immediately after he was shot by a grenade launcher and just left a bluish glow on his chest (possibly signifying because of his Atlantean skin) and no bruises whatsoever? And after he was cut by the Atlantean blade by Black Manta, shouldn't Aquaman just keep bleeding if he can't regenerate quickly? Meta-humans like Aquaman and Wonder Woman REGENERATE QUICKLY after they have been bruised or hurt because that is one of their assets. Watch Justice League and see how Aquaman stays alive even after Steppenwolf hits him with an axe and is still able to stand up with ease.
@@josesyguia given all the other extremely destructive hits he took all through the movie he should have shrugged of the grenade like it was nothing(remember the explosion that hit him & mera in the face at the start of the video), I'm saying the effect of the grenade on him in the submarine was done by the director for drama/comedy purposes. Some call it PIS(plot-induced stupidity) where an event/action makes no sense other than to move the film along from point a to b. And yes he regenates quickly but not quickly enough to heal between the 1st & 2nd stab, the 1st stab wound was done with atlantean steal & the 2nd was done by manta grandfather's knife at the same spot which hadn't healed yet. Aquaman has atlantean skin which is highly impact & pressure resistant which is how they can survive pressures of the deep ocean and destructive impact that can kill normal people. Atlantean steel is designed to be strong enough to break/pierce atlantean skin

I like how the Atlantian soldiers are not canon fodder like the Star Wars snoke or ren guards, but can hold their own in combat.
These are Orm’s elite commandos who are far deadlier than regular Atlantean soldiers.

The camera work is one of the best I have seen in movies and every shot seems so fresh. Also this movie has seemed to overcome the dark colour pallette curse DC usually suffers from and the flat colours marvel movies have. This movie got it right.
