Great range of vocals. I'm partial to Elvis's rendition though, and his lyrics are the best. So glad we still are blessed with Burt's musical genius. I do love Hal David's work, he was legendary.
If you’ve seen John Pagano’s rendition at Sydney Opera House, even Bacharach’s backing singers are visibly in awe of Pagano’s performance. Great song by Costello but he can’t claim best vocals IMHO
It's not bad. A lot better than Audra McDonald's version. She sings it too slow and her voice is too big for the song. It's a beautiful song but not everyone sounds good singing it even if very talented.
