Loved the Video! Just purchased the 2022 Hybrid Tucson Blue. It is amazing the amount of options that are included with the lowest priced model. Almost 500 miles to the tank helps a lot!
Big thank you for your review on the 2022 Tucson, we actually purchased the Hybrid version with 230hp totally maxed out with all the tech on offer and 4wd. One problem we came across was that we wanted to have the pearl white car with the floating roof look in black, but due to the fact that we have chosen the panoramic roof they couldnt fix the floating roof, however we solved the problem by foiling the top trim of the roof and tailgate and mirrors. Super happy.

Either through the windows or visability of the instruments in the car? I’m from northwest Canada. Preorder GV80 shipments came in last week at my local Genesis dealer, and someone who went past the shipping docks said the holding yards are full of them waiting for transport by train. The new Santa Fe was in the Hyundai showroom, but there were no new Tucsons that I could see.

Nice video and very nice car. I’m thinking of buying one as well here in Romania and I don’t know what powertrain to choose. On the trim level I what I have the MT 2WD 150 HP, DCT 4WD 180HP ( +4k euros, i hate that a loose some boot space on this) and AT 4WD Hybrid 230HP ( +8k euros). This would be my first owned car, I’ll mostly be doing driving in the city with at most 10k km per year. Is the Hybrid justified or I’m better of saving some money. What would you recommend?

So let's see, you filmed this in BUSAN, South Korea? With a Canadian Tucson owner? Hmmm, OK. Why not, I guess!!! :) I may well get this car when it comes to the USA later this year 2021, but I would get a PLUG-IN HYBRID version, All Wheel Drive. Why? Even though I'd get only about 25 miles all-electric, I believe that it will have a much larger battery than a regular hybrid and therefore have a much better and yet quieter acceleration. It would be just awesome to see a video about the PHEV (plug-in hybrid electric vehicle) version of the 2022 Tucson.

The skylight brings in light👍🏼👌🏼😎, I like it much. -The instrument panel should have been divided into dark and light colors, For example, the top of the dashboard is dark gray and the bottom is light gray.🤔 Jamie’s opinions are important and factual about where the new 2021 Hyundai Tucson is better than its predecessor and where there is room for improvement again. 👍🏼

And Hyundai was right about the sun glare on guages cluster, as u say NO GLARE. But I still think it needs a cover/cowl over the cluster. Great video! Quick question. In the US if I get a car with LFA and LKA but not the HDA, will the car still drive centered in the lane? Or do I have to get the HDA as well for the self driving? I know its the drivers responsibility for safe driving but curious about its functionality.
Yes, i think so HDA has to do with more about highway driving, but Hyundai do not call their driving aids as self driving, it's more like an assistance. But yes, this all new Hyundai Tucson w/o HDA should be still great keeping the car in the center and also keeping the safe distance with car in front. Thank you.

It appears they have regressed on the steering volume control. Looks like the 2020 Kia Sportage design which is the sole reason I purchased the 2020 Tucson over the Sportage. Maybe Hyundai supplies a pair of tweezers so that you can operate the steering volume control without muting it which happens when you apply just the slightest downforce to the button. Or if you can play Chopin's Ballade in F you could make it work, which anyone can do, right? So I may be making a bigger deal than necessary.

Hello Charlie, I have a question for Hyundai. Why the long-wheelbase model on the Korean and US market doesn't even have a manual sunshade for the rear seat, but the short-wheelbase European model has a sunshade? Isn't the long-wheelbase model supposed to be the more "family-centered" vehicle where people put babies and car seats in the back seat? Another question is, why the front radar sensor on the long-wheelbase model skewed to one side, but on the short-wheelbase model, it is in the center?
I am not sure. Why you guys don't get sunshade with short wheel base model in the US. I mean this long wheel base model feels very spacious inside, so hope you guys get this all new Hyundai Tucson with long wheelbase model soon in the US. Happy Holidays Hunter!
The front of this car looks so much different than any other car in this class. We almost bought a 2016 Tucson with the Turbo, but at the time it had a transmission recall so we went with a Subaru Crosstrek. I love Subarus but might have a look at Hyundai/Kia next time around. So let's see, you filmed this in BUSAN, South Korea? With a Canadian Tucson owner? Hmmm, OK. Why not, I guess!!! :) I may well get this car when it comes to the USA later this year 2021, but I would get a PLUG-IN HYBRID version, All Wheel Drive. Why? Even though I'd get only about 25 miles all-electric, I believe that it will have a much larger battery than a regular hybrid and therefore have a much better and yet quieter acceleration. It would be just awesome to see a video about the PHEV (plug-in hybrid electric vehicle) version of the 2022 Tucson.

Great video! Quick question. In the US if I get a car with LFA and LKA but not the HDA, will the car still drive centered in the lane? Or do I have to get the HDA as well for the self driving? I know its the drivers responsibility for safe driving but curious about its functionality.
Yes, i think so HDA has to do with more about highway driving, but Hyundai do not call their driving aids as self driving, it's more like an assistance. But yes, this all new Hyundai Tucson w/o HDA should be still great keeping the car in the center and also keeping the safe distance with car in front. Thank you.
@@AsianPetrolhead Oh they can keep the safe distance without Smart Cruise Control? Bcuz I'm shopping for a Hyundai/Kia and their lower trim does not have Smart Cruise Control. For example the Sorento S model has both LFA/LKA but doesn't have Smart Cruise.
What trim was this one? Cuz I’ve only seen on their website that the panoramic sunroof only comes in the limited trim..? Not sure if there’s any options to upgrade with the SEL trim.

It appears they have regressed on the steering volume control. Looks like the 2020 Kia Sportage design which is the sole reason I purchased the 2020 Tucson over the Sportage. Maybe Hyundai supplies a pair of tweezers so that you can operate the steering volume control without muting it which happens when you apply just the slightest downforce to the button. Or if you can play Chopin's Ballade in F you could make it work, which anyone can do, right? So I may be making a bigger deal than necessary.

Hello Charlie, I have a question for Hyundai.
Why the long-wheelbase model on the Korean and US market doesn't even have a manual sunshade for the rear seat, but the short-wheelbase European model has a sunshade? Isn't the long-wheelbase model supposed to be the more "family-centered" vehicle where people put babies and car seats in the back seat?
Another question is, why the front radar sensor on the long-wheelbase model skewed to one side, but on the short-wheelbase model, it is in the center?
I am not sure. Why you guys don't get sunshade with short wheel base model in the US. I mean this long wheel base model feels very spacious inside, so hope you guys get this all new Hyundai Tucson with long wheelbase model soon in the US. Happy Holidays Hunter!

The front of this car looks so much different than any other car in this class. We almost bought a 2016 Tucson with the Turbo, but at the time it had a transmission recall so we went with a Subaru Crosstrek. I love Subarus but might have a look at Hyundai/Kia next time around. I luuuv the new Tuscon, except for the large front "puffy bumps" above the front tires....awful. I would wait till the 2022 model comes out and hope they see the error! And, I don't want a 1.6 turbo....just give me the 2.4L!! turbos suck....gas, and are problematic to maintain in later years.
