- Daughter of Kalash is a story of a struggle of young independent woman belongs to the Indigenous Kalasha Tribe resides in between the Hindu Kush mountains of Pakistan. Daughter of Kalash is saving her culture that is in danger, by finding the traces of her long forgotten origin.

I saw so many common elements between Kalash people and other people of extended valleys north of Hindiu-Kush. Noristanis, Nejrab, Kohband, Andarab and Khost-u-Fering are related to Kalash culture and people.
Ban Islam that's the only way to save Kalash culture, if they were in India their population wud be 1 crore today . Shame on Muslims to finish their culture .

Thanks to the filmmaker for this excellent documentary about the Kalash people, their life and especially thanks for introducing this brave and inspiring Kalash woman. She gives a great example for how tradition and culture can be preserved through spreading education and giving assistance when needed. She deserves all support, respect and admiration for her commitment for her people and her land.

These people n their culture are THE BEAUTY OF PAKISTAN.
This is very similar to pahadi culture in himachal.so much of resemblance in song, music and dialect.

Incredible! Their dresses and the way they set their hair looks so much like the
ancient Kabyle ways. Also, the way they greet one another, kissing the forehead
and the hand is exactly the same old kabyle way of greeting. The design of their face tattoo, their bread. And, the rhythm of their music, without speaking of their smile and joyfulness.
I don't know, but all those things stroke me immediately so much! I know it sounds crazy but please someone, somewhere do some research about
it. And, who knows And research might uncover things that will astonish people

Nice documentary. There is no controversy as far as Kalash people are concerned. These fake controversies have been created to push agendas.The Kalash are pure Central Asian Aryans. This region is typically Central Asia.They are Aryan Dardic people. There is no authentic data to suggest that Alexander arrived in this region. Alexander was in Pakistani Punjab where the people are often dark and short like the average Greeks. The Kalash have
nothing Greek, Macedonian, etc. in them they are related to all Aryan people of
Central Asia. Why confuse these people let them retain their roots and
religion. There religion is surely linked to Avestan-Rigvedic religions. They must not be Semitized religiously by being made into Muslims. In fact the Muslims of Chitral must protect these people. The Daradic people of ancient Dardistan are similar to them.
This is what happens when you let your daughters get an education ;)
