I have two reasons i like these pics.
A. I enjoy the pics.
B. These would piss off an HOA.
These PITA errrr I meant HOA seem to be an very american thing, apart from the fact, that americans don't love anything natural.
I wouldn't move into an HOA-infiltred neighbourhood, no matter how much money someone would pay me for it. There is nothing wrong with keeping a house in order, but grownups certainly don't need an PITA with some 70 year old loser who achived nothing in his life and likes to command all others around.
Living close to a house that's painted an unusual color is actually a good landmark for giving direction. My neighbor's house is magenta, so all I have to say is, "I live across the street from the magenta house."
We had a tangerine orange house a few streets from mine. Ppl still use it for directions only problem is it hasn't been orange for the past 5 years.
Ppl use my dad's huge Mastiff as a landmark for directions. It was so funny the 1st time I heard someone do it.
Lucky them! They obviously don’t live in an HOA community!
HOA's don't seem to appreciate creativity and don't seem to have much of a sense of humor, do they?
I am sure the skate park is a favourite with the neighbours listening to that noise

There is one in the Edgewater , MD area ! It blew me away to see it coming towards me . I’m a car guy and I was like , what is that? And then , WOW . I should have followed him home to ask questions !

OR: In the cold and snow of winter a lot of people just let the dog out in the yard to do their business but don’t clean up after them. Some enterprising jobless guy created a business-he bought a shop vac and gets paid to vacuum the yards. Some folks just have him come weekly through the summer so they don’t have to handle the “mess”.
Maybe there is broken glass in the yard
My husband and I vacuumed some glass out of our lawn. The glass fell out of a trailer full of stuff that my husband was taking to the local landfill. Our daughter goes barefoot a lot and we didn't want her to get hurt on the glass. See! There is a perfectly logical reason to vacuum your lawn!

The turret is actually an air traffic tower use in airplane neighborhoods. I can think of 3 such neighborhoods within 30 miles of Ocala, FL

The ppl who made cut-outs in their fence to accomodate the branches dont understand how trees grow. Branches become wider with age.
They can redo a panel if need be.
Yes, because everyone in the world is stupid except you. They know how trees grow, and they also know how to change the hole to accommodate the tree growth when needed.
@@josephhodges9819 Ha! I just know how $$$ fences are and cutting holes effects the integrity, widening those same holes will weaken it even more. Just seems virtue-signaling to spare those branches. JMHO.
@@Bintexas It is not a load bearing fence. Once a year they can spend some money and get the hole widened to look good. I like it and so do most people because of the uniqueness plus they wanted a fence, and it would be a terrible loss to cut the tree down that is over their property. Remember good neighbors make good fences.
Let them worry about it, for goodness sakes!

I had to vacuum my lawn once….my waterbed split so I dragged the bladder outside and little polyurethane balls exploded everywhere…the only way to get them up was to vacuum my lawn 😂🙄
I would have a fit if my next door neighbor built a mini skatepark! The noise would send me thru the roof!
I used to own a house across from a funeral home. Since the business is only in the day, the parking lot was perfect for skateboarding. I actually enjoy watching them, but not at 2 or 3 am. Thank God I moved out of the hood.

Ive had to "vacuum my grass" once. As a teen. I spilled a bag of short nails I was carrying for my dad. Shop vac took care of it no problem. I suppose I could have used a magnet but I used the shop vac.

I believe someone said it could be a control tower at one of those neighborhoods that also have a runway. They call them fly-in communities.
It's called a fly-in community. I used to live in one. It's a private airport for small planes (like Piper and Cessna planes). Not all have a tower. Some are simply radio controlled in someone's home. They're quite common in CA, especially up north (NorCal) or down south like the valley (SoCal). Besides the residents, the only other people who use the airport are emergency services units (fire, medical, or police departments). Hope this helps! 😊
