Pero Akiko Shikata siempre va a ocupar un lugar especial en mi corazón, es gracias a ella y a otras como Meramipop y Yuki Kajiura que logre tener una mejor visión de que es lo que buscaba en la música, pues por aquel entonces escuchaba "un poco de todo".
Quizas sea porque me encanta su estetica, pero me parecia que estos personajes daban para mucho mas que secundarios. Pero bueno, con todos los excelentes desarollos que tienen los personajes de Umineko hace sentir que todo perosnaje tiene mucho mas para ofrecer. But the footsteps are certainly referring to leaving behind reality in the end. @Mikel I don't know if Infinity would agree with me...But here's a small spoiler!!!: You know that Umineko is basically Alice in Wonderland, right? The tea party, the crazyness, they even refer to Alice's story in Umineko itself. Its Battlers dream - from start to finish, including Touya and Ikuko. We are in Battlers mind/dream world and just like Alice is patching together everything she saw and experienced before, Battler is doing the same thing. You only see that if you understand, that the stories are one giant love letter that Beato writes "encrypted" so that only Battler would understand (=>without love the truth cant be seen). She tells him over and over again through the characters in her story how she is sorry, how she wants to apologize and that she loves him but he just doesnt get it since he doesn't remember anything from what happened after 1986 and because he subconciously still hates "Beato" for that. So with this info and the fact that episode 1 starts many many years after october 1986 in Battlers mind, you can now read the story once again and see what happened in reality ;) (Oh btw, of course, I read episode 8 manga, and I see what they did there :P)
I was under the impression that this whole story was taking place in purgatory, after everyone is dead. it has VERY strong references to The Divine Comedy, after all.
And with this you are absolutely right! :) They say several times that they are "ghosts". "they are inviting me" is a reference to mt purgatory, to clean the regrets you had in your life. For this, the "forgiving magic" can be seen througout the games when all those pairs start to talk to each other and can then leave for paradise (e.g. Eva and Hideyoshi in ep 1). There arent only references to the Divina Commedia, but to the bible, God, angels (genderless), fallen angels etc. Umineko is, after all, fantasy. the fantasy-side doesnt win just for the heck of it.

Yo se como va la traduccion original, mi gramatica esta mal, I know, pero vivo en USA y el Spanish es como mi segundo lenguaje de hecho xDU aprendi Spanglish. Me emociona como no tienen idea esta canción y me pongo a cantarla a lo loco olvidando lo que rodea. me acuerdo que una vez tuve espectador sin que lo supiera en ese momento y hasta que finalice de cantar el aplaudió y me preguntó. Como se llama lo que estaba cantado y le dije el nombre y le mostré este video y le dije a que anime pertenece y dijo con extrañeza no esta en español? Yo le conteste: obvio no... El me dijo que por la forma tan realista en la que la cante pensó que era una canción en español. Incluso me dijo que debería cantarla en español al escucharla y mas tarde al mirar el anime. Posdata: lo intente pero me pongo nerviosa al saber que estoy siendo gravada y pues desafino como si no supiera lo que digo. Conclusión: valgo pa pura madre por ponerme nerviosa. El me dijo que al menos había tenido el placer de escuchar la versión a capella cuando me escucho cantarla y que se arrepiente de no haberme gravado a escondidas. Hahhhahhahaha
