I love carrion crimson. I used it on my Belakors wings to give it a purple tinge and the mottling effect looks so good on it. Also love the way this turned out, will have to give that cheese cloth purity seal a go.
Wonderful again! I've got decent results with the chipping medium. I do struggle with consistency though, sometimes too much sometimes too little. I need to practice it more. I bought some cheap bases so maybe first of the week I can try and hammer it out.
I'm really sorry, I don't remember who it was, but I saw a kitbash on YT where they used a type of sandpaper to make it look like lizard/drake skin was draped on the sally. It looked really effective!
It was Eons of Battle. Jays great! Not really grimdark but worth the sub. He's a fantastic part of the Warhammer YT community Here is the link: th-cam.com/video/jlrGctKXnFg/w-d-xo.htmlsi=1Qz4rXsQ3n3CMU5T
Seems like you run afoul of the issue I encounter using chipping mediums - there's this weird "texture" to using it, even with a fine spray, that just doesn't quite sell the effect properly, and gives the surface this slightly bumpy look. I'm all about using texture, but it just doesn't quite "sit" right on the model, and doesn't dry smoothly as the other acrylic colors, so you end up with this splotchy look I just don't feel happy with.
I’m not a Salamanders fan boy, but what you do just really leans into their grim dark aspect. Especially how you did the head. Purely amazing mate!
awesome work mate, Nate knockin' in out the park as per usual!

Looks too much like a dark angle
Crusty.
You guys really need to stop making videos with enamels not even released yet. What even is the shipping date of Phase II?
Well, when you receive phase II you will have a ton of videos right off the bat featuring them sooo, perspectives! 🤷♂
