I'm from Ukraine and I noticed that every time a siren sounds throughout the country, my whole life flashes before my eyes. And here I'm sitting again, listening to sad music and remembering the wonderful moments of life...I'd better write now, because "tomorrow" may not be. I sincerely thank you for your amazing playing, which I listen to very often. It makes me live. I can barely hold back my tears, but I have to be strong. LOVE YOUR PLAYING!❤️🔥
Blessings and much love from Spain, Dmitry. Despite all the darkness of this world and much of humanity itself, the light within us will never stop shining, even after our lives here end. And this, can't ever be stopped or repressed. ❤🙏🏽
11:01 - 11:17 To my knowledge, this is the only note perfect run of this opening that has ever been performed for a live audience...you are such a mesmerizing player, amazing job :)
This interpretation is beautiful. The ebb and flow of the rhythm that the soloist is playing and the general pulse of the rest of the orchestra is perfect, yet it has expressive touches that allow it to set itself apart from other performances. I struggle to put it into words how good this performance is. Bravo!
part one is awesome but it's part 2 that i like the best!!!! Christoph the conductor the violinists and cellists they all did a fantastic job!!!!!!!!! kudos to all of them!!!
14:16 The play that starts here is simply absurd. What a joyfully sad mix of orchestra being expressed up until 15:55. It gets quiet and echoes immensely. Quite a beautiful 2 minutes.
you must FEEL the instrument!!! you must Love the instrument! you must Understand the instrument!!!! and you must be as ONE!!! with the instrument and the orchestra!!!!!!! and you sir did exactly that!!! :D
does anyone know the story of this concert? somehow the great classical music had a story behind each work (a story of the work itself or of the composer).A story that I would be very curious to find out :)
Amazing💕Your performance was so cool and woderful✨✨✨✨ Please visit to Japan, so I am happy to listen to your playing someday💐 I love your performance💕💕💕

@ Christoph Sietzen-Percussion who were the names of the cellists who helped you with your performance???? they all did a great job the violinists too!
Hello Christoph! I love your playing! Really impressed by your ability to achieve good sound quality even when you do those high vertical strokes. I was wondering what mallets you used for this performance? Thank you!
i bet sometimes it is hard to do a solo and remember it without sheet music!!!!!!! but with a little time, patience, and a lot of practice you will go a long way!!!!!!!!! and tht is exactly what you did :D

c'est la première fois que j'écoute une musique spécialement écrite pour marimba. Une belle découverte, la musique et le musicien.
