Wasnt HP the ones that wouldnt work if the printer wasnt connected to the internet or some bullshit? Ive heard they have a lot of shady stuff but that's the one i remember...
@@Kasparth HP wants you to make an account with them, login into that account on your printer, AND stay permanently online with the printer to use it. They are downright CRIMINAL.

Printer companies in general are crooks. There's videos detailing it, but the scam isn't the printer itself but the ink & toner. The cost of producing the ink is literal pennies (a youtuber even made his own) while it's sold at a much higher expense. Additionally, printers will say a cartridge is "empty" while it still has quite a bit of ink left.
All in all: if you need a printer, use one at a library or trustworthy company. Printers were designed to scam businesses.
I swear the HP printer at work wastes ink on purpose whenever it's "reconfiguring" after you open it to change ink. You hear it making puff noises.
Hi hi, former salesperson for printers! Don't get an HP printer if you have a choice. They aggressively push their subscription plan for ink replacements and while it's a decent value if you print frequently, HP sometimes remotely disables the printer if you try cancelling the subscription and switch to using normal cartridges.
Or if you move to a new address

It's a subscription service attached to a physical good so there's a lot of weird grey area legally especially because software is involved.
It's something you can hypothetically get fixed through customer support channels but those are intentionally hard to get real access to and the the whole process gets mired in corpo-bureaucratic nonsense.
@@Vulgar_Worlock the physical subscription would be fine (I think) but it's remotely disabling the printer because you cancel the subscription that seems absolutely illegal
Otz its totally right about HP printer, i had one that was working normally and then suddently, out of nowhere decided to "dont recognise my Windows anymore", i didnt even updated it, i swear these things are alive and only live to make us angry
Wouldnt suprise me if it was some sort of scam to make you buy another one or get it repaired somewhere.
The ink cartridges thing has been well know for ages and people figured out how to bypass most of that bullshit (usually needing to use a program and filling the cartridge) so programs being self sabotage wouldnt suprise me.

I'll often fail a skill check if I'm doing a gen and moving the camera watch the killer in the background chase survivors (usually towards me)
I fail healing skill checks sometimes because the female survivor is distracting me with her skimpy outfit. Hey, I'm only human!

Honestly, HP are scummy as fuck. When you scan a document, or print a document, it gets sent to their server. I had to print off a personal identification document and now that's just on HP's servers forever. Fuck that company.

Oh no! I love going against a good Myers. Those are some of the scariest matches. Getting silently grabbed off a gen, getting chased by a Tier 3 Tombstone Myers, turning the camera around only to see him standing in a corner. Ooh! So fun for me lol And also, most Myers players are respectful. If you play well and survive as the last person, you usually get hatch or exit gate.
I think regardless of race, religion or sexual orientation we can all agree that HP is the worst and has a special place in Tech hell.

Honestly, pretty much all major printer companies are terrible at best. The "best" ones are usually the bottomless/continous ink supply types. And those also have some really dodgy design choices.
But they're still far better than cartridge types. But that's like saying hitting your shin is better than chopping off your own feet. Sure it's better, but it ain't exactly a high bar to pass, and they're not doing much better than acceptable.

I had a printer back in college that only printed, no other fancy features, wasn't built to be updated. Lasted 10 years. I was heart broken when it broke. Now my printers break every time they update
Everytime Behavior puts out one of their surveys I always answer honestly and say "Please remove Trickster from the game, refund people's money back for cosmetic purchases. Every Trickster i went against was toxic and I reported them all for unsportsmanlike/griefing.

Yesterday I saw your Casting of Frank Stone stream, it was past midnight and you had just started a new playthrough and said "Aight chat, for some of you it's late, here it's past midnight, if you want go to sleep and wake up in 5 hours we will probably be still streaming"
