The Dogon are an ethnic group located in the central plateau region of Mali, near the city of Bandiagara, and in Burkina Faso ¹ ². They are an ancient people who are believed to have migrated to their current location from the Nile Valley in East Africa between the 13th and 16th centuries ³.
