Dunno if you knew this but the psp version of gran turismo has a drifting mode.. it is fun af.. i kinda miss playing that game

@@runner05 tuff learning curve if you don't know anything about drifting but not that hard. Really fun when you get the hang of it.
i still remember i was just racing as normal in d1gp where i was just crashing everything back in 2014
Why in the fuck is there a form D drifting game with actually nice car models, drift physics,engine sounds, and tracks on the fucking PS2 and why isn't there another one for current consoles

PS2, men, they nailed this shit, unlike recent games that seem to struggle with making fun mechanics intead of "realistic" ones, failing miserably.

I still play this game from time to time after I watch a d1gp series. I really like it and it doesnt look that bad on emulator. I actually still really enjoy it. I wish a modern drift car with current specs of cars would be released. I guess there's AC but it's much more serious and hard to pull up a good drift.
There is forza you can drift anything in that
@@sakuraa2008 But Forza from UK. So the driver lists are from US or Europe. Meanwhile Yukes from Japan so they can get D1 licenses easily.

Where did you download the game from? I'm having trouble with mine rn. Every time I go to race, the screen just turns black, but the control panel and audio are still there. Any advice?
I love drift car and i used a gameplay too.
IGN gave it a low review because it was “too hard” for the 11year old critics to play.

Nah, GRID is totally different. That game came from the guys who made TOCA. Although GRID did add a drifting mode which had a lot of D1GP liveries.

@@theraiden9631 I mean, I think the drift-mode cars in the (original) GRID are also based on D1GP cars.
But yeah, main point was that this is a different game, ironically made by Yuke's. Speaking of Team Orange.

Though the physics style didn't age well. Would still probably rather play a sim/simcade like Assetto Corsa or Forza Motorsport.

Hey, I got some problems with the game... everytime I start a run, the car just goes max speed and I see all black. Does this do with the game itself or pcsx2's settings?

Assetto Corsa is the best feeling drift sim, for me. Would be awesome if they incorporated some D1GP legends for their 3rd title.

I don't understand the fact that your opponent has better lines than you did, and you still won LMAO
If play as leader, you need to pull off insane drift angle. If as chaser, just drift as close to leader.
