Agiver Reviga slight clipping was intentional. Sidechaining a kick and 808 doesn’t prevent clipping. Clipping is based on how hard the entire mix is pushing against 0db, over 0db, or with saturation.
Alex Kure exactly, clipping is intentional. If I didn’t want the kick to clip I would have used a limiter to prevent it but that will kill a bit of the dynamic range.
@@BlueNovaBeats I know it's technically wrong from an engineering standpoint, but that's what people like right now; kicks that punch through the entire mix. Most of the time I'm letting that shit go right into the red 😂😂
