happy new year paul! love your videos, you are an inspiration. this year i have quite a few cycling goals! including: cycle the alps, go bikepacking, cycle 5000 miles :)
HNY Paul. 2024 was a good year cycling-wise. I set goals of 3500mi and 40k ft in climbing. I ended up doing 3770mi and 67415ft. And that with almost 30 days of downtime due to a get-off. My goals for 2025 are going to be 4500mi and 75k ft. I also plan to do a 145mi one-day ride on the Trail of the Couer d'Alene, one end to the other and back. Looking forward to many more rides with you this year, as well. 👍
Happy new year Loving having your videos back And possible coffee content as well cycling thank you Glad too hear i. Wasn’t the only coming up short on cycling target You are not the only one
It was -1C (29F) here today while running my errands. During the winter I only commute, training rides are indoors. This year I'm planning on riding a round-trip on the Ohio to Erie Trail. It's been postponed twice now, and it's so frustrating because I live just 7 miles from the towpath and I ride it regularly, but time constraints always have me turning around and riding back home. Hopefully this year I can just keep riding.
I completed my first ever bike touring trip last year, a 3 day trip to and around York. I’ve now got two more planned for 2025, a 3 day trip along the Northumberland Coast in north east England, and a 6 day tour to and around Holland. Can’t wait 😀
Happy New Year Paul, I always look forward to your vlogs, especially lately for the virtual cycling escapes they gave me after a sudden, acute health issue stopped me riding from October. Happily, after a successful, small op just before Christmas, I am now on way to full recovery and looking forward to getting back on my bike (a Trek Checkpoint like yours) by February, and hopefully get my cycling fitness back up in time for Spring and Summer. (It’s amazing how quickly fitness falls off after a relatively short break!). So, I would like to wish you and all keen cyclists out there a happy, and in particular, - healthy, - 2025 and beyond.
Happy new year, it’s always nice to do the first ride of the year. I’ve signed up for Lauren’s Europe tour in May, 3 countries over 4 days, France, Belgium and the Netherlands with some of the other FCC crew. So excited as never done anything like it before. Going to have to get some training rides in .
Hi Paul, Happy New Year. Hope your year goes well. I have a strange target this year for cycling. I need 7448 miles to reach 100,000 Strava miles since I joined in June 2015. Hoping to get that done by mid to late summer.
Paul, whatever you decide to do this year, I wish you the best of luck. If it’s coffee related then I’d love to see another cyclists cafe of some sort. Anyway, all the best. Take care. 👍
Happy and a healthy New Year Paul. You had good weather New Years day while down here very wet and windy! Living close to the Grand Union canal, I know what you mean about walkers. Some make me smile, when approaching a couple walking side by side they both move to make space but in fact change places effectivley blocking the path. I'm looking for some shortish Audaxs this year and will do the Garmin Ride Out in the New Forest 31st May. Somerset looks interesting but yet to sort anything out. Keep the videos coming and bring along the comedian Ian😂

Cheers for the shout out Paul! Look forward to riding with you. Just let us know when you're gonna be here. 👍
It will be longer than intended after recent events.... But we will do it!

Hi.... Sorry you've had health issues but really glad that the vlogs have helped. Happy new year and positive vibes for you
Just started indoor cycling on 27.12.2024 on Rouvy and I'm loving it.
There's C2C and LEJOG on it, that's my 2025 sorted.
Yes a friend has been using Rouvy and says it's great
