I am really into a lot of the various Black Metal sub-genres (i.e., Gothic, Atmospheric, Symphonic, Progressive, Technical, Folk/Pagan, Christian etc...) Dark Jazz is something a little different. I like it a lot. Very cinematic I think... IMHO.
I found your music from the r/listentothis subreddit and it is captivating. I love the feel of this E.P and I wish i could buy it (unfortunately i live in the UK) but i will recommend this to anyone who will listen ; keep it up!

Hi Michael Thank you! Different stuff for different tracks. For guitar leads, I'm basically using vintage boss digital reverb pedal, sometimes adding custom delay pedal. Speaking about VST - I do not have a favorite, but I like how GR5 reverb/delay effects sound. Furthermore, you can easily maintain it by graph that makes it useful when you need to 'increase the atmosphere'. For 'Father' song, I was using Dunlop Crybaby + Boss reverb.
This is exactly what I was looking for, well the essence and emotions I was looking for. This is really good I love it. Can't make me more depressed tho but its always good to try hehe
Correct, all the songs from this EP are based on the real stories (despite the fact that there's no lyrics, i think it's understandable from the context) The song father is about the death from a lung cancer.
i especially like nighthawks because it embodies a dissociation/depression i’m very familiar with and out of all the songs i’ve listened to in that genre, none were jazz and none could depict it well enough. but this? oh yeah baby.

This is better than half of DSBM band I've listened to. And I've listen to pretty much a lot of them. Insane.
There's actually progressive black project I keep doing for last couple of years. Hopefully this year. Or next one.
