      @@KorbenTheFireX Their lackluster updates to phones owned by their existing customer base (like me) didn't help. I now have a Samsung S21 purchased after LG gave up, but LG wasn't going to get any more money from me even if they were still around. Very good hardware, let down by them seeming to always chase the future and not keeping the current and past customers happy.

    • @03Chris25

      I do applaud them for trying something new every time, but that also seems to have been their downfall. They came up and abandoned any new ideas, and kept some ideas that fans didn't really want (i,e boombox speakers). They never really went deep into the core functionalities of a smartphone, the ABCDs (Audio, Battery Camera Display, which ironically LG has mentioned this and said they will be focusing on it) never was good enough.
      Their recent LG phones used sub par BOE made displays without any high refresh rate features, their cameras were okay, but nothing to write home about other than their "ASMR" feature for god knows what percent of LG phone users will uses, their wired Audio was the best, until they got rid of their Quad DACs and people started moving on to wireless earbuds and headsets. The only thing they did good was the battery department I guess.
      An interesting sidenote, the board members of LG mobile was pissed when the film "Parasite" had the rich family using iPhones while the poor family was still using an LG G3, which I guess goes to show the public reputation of the brand that is LG phones.

    Hey, it's my phone! Genuinely a solid device, even ignoring the wacky screen. Wish LG kept making phones, because I've always been a fan of theirs.
    People gave them a lot of flak, but they were one of the few companies trying out legitimately interesting and unique ideas. Quite a few things they came up with stuck and are now common features on any smartphone. Definitely not a perfect company by far (see the lackluster updates and lousy marketing), but I'll miss their ideas.
    By the way, if anyone's considering one of these- a case and screen protectors (yes, protectors- there's 2 screens, after all) are a must. This video is a great example of why.

LG should have concentrated on flagship phones that would be at least good Android options to Samsung. My first ever phone (and my second ever but we'll ignore that lmfao) was the LG K7. It was a literal piece of shit compared to every other phone on the market, but for a 13 year olds first smartphone, it wasn't bad at all. Gave me everything I needed in a phone except a good camera and big storage.

    I have a phone in a little condition than this man got it in. My phone main display got cracke at 2 places, and a hair line like crack on back display. I really want to repair my LG Wing but thr service centre is charging huge amount here in India. I couldn't afford to repair my wing and I don't want to sell it but if I got a good deal than I may sell it as I have used my wing and I love it so much. It's the best piece of technology that I have and it seperates me from my friends who have just boring smartphones. If anyone could help me repair this phone or could purchase it from me at a good price, I'd be glad for the help.

      What do you think of the battery life? is it enough to last you a whole day of your typical use? mine's basically just enough for a day of heavy use with only the main screen, it's a shame it only has 4300mah and a 60hz screen otherwise this phone's top notch

      @SunCoastFilms ปีที่แล้ว

      @@v7xgaming As far as mine goes, I put it in airplane mode for heavy filming. But with this being said, the battery is not what it used to be. It's now glitchy sometimes when filming and having to restart often. Sadly I'm retiring it and getting the Samsung Ultra. My wing isn't what it used to be. I still have good days though with no glitching. Make no mistake I am going to miss the dual camera filming. This phone was a beast at one time. She just seems tired now. Sad this was the last phone LG made. I'm sure going to miss it.

    It's a shame that LG couldn't stick around. That's kinda the issue with trying a bunch of cool designs and never sticking to one, people like one design and have nothing to go back to when it's time to upgrade. I'd say that's ultimately why LG couldn't continue on, they didn't have as much of a repeat customer base. Some designs could be polarizing, scaring some off and drawing fewer in.
