Not only an incredible singer, but a genuinely sweet guy, too. Gone, but never forgotten.

I say this as an 80s rock and metal singer/vocalist myself; if anyone thought I have pipes,,, this guy is beyond amazing. I do consider myself a great singer with incredible range and pitch and I have been singing since the late 80s and I say this humbly because this guy makes me sound like I’ve never sang a note in my entire life. He is beyond amazing.

Sure, I think they cant go high and low like him...BUT, they are the rockin today.
      He doesnt..why?
Dont get me wrong, Midnight in the records, is my 1:st place in singing, but...why do drugs? he had could be the best singer in the world so easy...In my EYES he is, but, now we will never know....
      RIP Patrick

The greatest Power/Progressive Metal vocalist to ever walk within this 3rd dimension. "In death I've found the answer In death I live again Fear not the reaper's blade It does not mean the end, It never really ends." RIP John Patrick McDonald Jr.

      Incredible voice.
He could sing higher than Halford with eas, and had a amazing sense with his voice.
One of the best singer in the world !!
It´s so sad he died, he had so much in himself that we could have listen to in years...
      RIP :(

Belseful He conveyed raw emotion better than anyone I have ever heard. Keep him alive by playing his music and letting others know about his music. That's what he would have wanted most of all. \m/

Huge Influence for Me, to sing his songs just pours my Soul out, takes me to a Whole Other World...
When You sing songs on this Level that are so well written and crafted.. there is nothing better..
I have no idea whats going on in this video... No matter what You've been through, reach out to a friend if things get overwhelming.. there are many strangers out there , souly.. to give an ear or a hand ...

On his solo album Sakada, it's like a crazy version of Michael Kiske's solo album ! Midnight's voice is different, and really impressive on this album. Love it !

From what I can gather he was more of a hippie. They usually have good emotion but very bad judgment. Very talented voice no doubt when used appropriately.

He was a good singer but his response when asked about why he was hiding was kinda douchey. He asked WHY you were hiding not where. He wasn’t hiding anymore so why the fuck couldn’t you just answer the question? He might have been schizophrenic and had mental issues so I don’t totally blame him.
