It feels so good to hear these smooth conversations about chess, book recommendations and about his life and hobbies from Hikaru. There are people who unnecessarily hate on others and create drama, but people like me are here to enjoy chess community regardless of the player/person. So good to watch this in the midst of the stupid chess drama that's been going on. Keep up Hikaru and Thanks Dina for the amazing questionnaires! :)

That's kind of random, doubting someone who says they occasionally like watching such and such. Maybe Hikaru's got a private detective following you to know all your likes and dislikes... oh snap! Forgot. He doesn't CARE. But, he is a great chess player and pretty decent businessman too. Magnus wears many hats; most of them do. Because, of course, chess pays them so well. There! I just one-upped you on the random thing. But, no one cares, which is precisely how it should be. 😄

That was actually great advice from Hikaru to Dina as a reporter... There are sooooo many reporters that just don't get it and make all kinds of incredibly stupid questions, especially when interviewing players that just lost a game. Dina taking that advice to heart will make her an even better reporter!

Berkshire Hathaway. His strategy seems best. In a nutshell: buy value. Hold it a long time (Months, years), until you need to sell it to buy greater value. Seems to have worked well for him. Of course, there is a trick. Getting the value part right. Buying value does not necessarily mean buying something you think is underpriced although ultimately that ends up being the case. When he started, he didn't day trade. Didn't dabble in options. Just sound strategy for the long term. I am sure Hikaru has his own methods, perhaps someday he'll share them. But not yet, I imagine.
