      Skip and Shannon: UNDISPUTED the part about lacking that "dog" characteristic is very true. I'm Ingram and I believe in Lonzo. They need to get some balls.

      All of a sudden, 'stop the comparisons' after every last one of these guys on FS1 been hyping him up. Last guy that got hyped up like this was Bron and we all saw what he did in his first reg season game. Im a Lakers fan and this kid better at least pan out to b a solid PG. But I honestly never saw anything 'special' about him.

    • @mbp7060
      @mbp7060 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      No, I'm not surprised at all. Lonzo will be okay. Lonzo has both the greatest dad in the world and the worst dad to have for your pro debut against the best point guard destroyer in the world. Lonzo is a good point guard, he won't be great and this is not a play off team in the west.

    Can we stop giving LaVar Ball publicity? I admire he loves his son but he's embarrassing at times, as last night shown. He showed Beverley no respect after the game.

      He's entertaining nothing wrong with that

    • @oKiirby
      @oKiirby 7 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Lebron not my GOAT there is something wrong with that . He's constantly disrespecting the players in the league in order to hype up his son which makes his son get targeted every night .

    • @keisi1574
      @keisi1574 7 ปีที่แล้ว +11

      Lebron not my GOAT LaVar is entertaining FOR PEOPLE who choose to be entertained by him. LaVar is for people who CHOOSE to get played. He's playin' his fans. He offers nothing of substance. He makes NOISE. I ignore it. The part that bothers me is when other people ECHO and repeat the useless noise LaVar makes. NOW- LaVar did good in helping raise his sons to a high level in various aspects and I respect that- understand that is a SEPARATE ISSUE from the LaVar Ball azzClown circus.

    Lonzo has the ability to be great. But he HAS to develop some offense or just a shot I like Lonzo a lot I like his dad too but before that I was a fan. I want to see him be great but he needs some improvement most def in his shot and defense.

    • @austindubose1
      @austindubose1 7 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      Zeek Cozart Exactly. He needs to be great at something of than passing. If he wants to be a super star like his dad say he will be, then he needs to add more to his game. Almost every Super Star is great at more than one thing

    Let's not forget that magic was called "Tragic" Johnson early in his career. If Lonzo is as great as he's been hyped up to be, he'll make the necessary adjustments and step up to the challenge. If he isn't - it's going to be a long season for Lonzo, and Lavar.

    Brandon Ingram? Take contact? The guy looks like a toothpick.
    The vibe I'm getting is that the Laker's woes will never be Lonzo's fault. He gets a pass because it's known he's not a scorer. But if he doesn't get the assists, it will be his teammates' fault for not hitting shots.
    Forget Magic, forget Jason Kidd. At this point, Lonzo's best comparison would be Ricky Rubio with worse defense.
    And Skip still doesn't believe in the Clippers. I'm no Clippers fan, but I don't think you can dispute which is the better team in LA.

    Ok so a couple things I wanna make clear:
    1. I am a true Lakers fan. With that in mind whoever believes we are making the playoffs this season needs to be DRUG TESTED ASAP. Skip Bayless is outta his mind...then again what else is new?
    2. Lonzo Ball got a long way to go to be the player I and most ppl believe he can be. He had some highs and more lows throughout the game. I did appreciate him getting nine rebounds and keeping his poise throughout the game. He'll make the adjustments necessary in due time.
    Now.....Brandon Ingram gotta step it up man smh...I mean he suppose to be this 20ppg scorer for us. I know its game 1 but I'm not feeling that jumpshot. Its like he's rushing it or something. Idk but he gotta do better. I see why they were tryna ship Randle out. He didn't give us much if anything. I didn't see the dog he usually has in the paint offensively.
    Lopez did his usual thing with a 20/7 game. I mean yeah Blake gave it to him but...Blake is more of an athlete than he is. Bogut.....smh well its still hope. Clarkson (18) and Nance (14/12)did they thing too. But my two biggest questions are: Who's our first option offensively? Where's the energy? Because if that's what me as a fan gotta look forward to........the blood of Jesus!!! 😳
    And Skip please shut up!!!! Where's Charlamagne with the DOTD?!

    Lonzo had some good vision passes. Had some nice rebounds. Hit a 3. Everybody wants to see lonzo fall on his face because of his dad. He’s 19 with a world of pressure on him and to be honest he is handling himself like a PRO. He can learn the game but there are guys who’ve been in sports for YEARS and don’t have his maturity. Lonzo will be fine. Some of the quiet players are beasts.

    i mean he killed it in game 2. It's his rookie year and he's on a terrible team, give him at least a season before you pass this kind of judgement on him

    No we cant stop the comparison. Y'all should've been saying that when the comparison started! We shall hold Lonzo to all the expectaions ESPN and Lavar built up! Lonzo will be trash. There are plently of rookies better!

    • @MrGameonthis
      @MrGameonthis 7 ปีที่แล้ว +30

      Live With Jay yep, he's going to be trash based off his first game ever in the NBA at 19 years old. If this was 1996 and you saw kobes rookie year, you'd claim he's a bum too. Just stop hating for the sake of hating.

    • @bigglizzy1952

      Erik Bernal I'm not saying lonzos going to be as good as Kobe, I'm stating if you all followed the league back then you'd be calling him a bum so please don't avoid my point.

      No. 9 he's not but you idiots are so dumb that you instantly claim he's a bum due to his first game. You all just hate him because of his father but you won't admit it because you're children.
