Thank you for today’s message, which I thoroughly enjoyed.
My takeaways: trust God fear, God, reverence, God, honor God, and humbled our selves, in the sight of the Lord. I especially love your example that God is always with you therefore, you should always be on your best behavior.
Of course I was helping you with the very popular, Proverbs 3:5 direct your path is the way most of us have memorized it.
Another take away is the importance of heeding discipline and correction as it will keep you from wickedness and hence increase your days of blissfulness.
A just God will not let you run amuck. He will use His rod, and staff, amongst other things (loss of relationship, health, love ones etc to get your attention) to get you back on a path of righteousness.
I really enjoyed the farmers example to make the point, that you must ‘tithe’ as every thing you have comes from and belongs to God!
Lastly, I am in awe of how the texts describes all of Wisdoms amazing attributes with a feminine pronoun!

Some say proverbs are 100% true in ensemble, taken together, qualifying each other. That might be stronger way to say it that saying proverbs are maxims.
