A trip down memory lane! I grew up in what you call Salmon River, near Aldergrove in the 60's and 70s. Now my mom lives in the heritage Michaud house in Langley. The pictures of Aldergrove blew me away, as I still remember it as a one stoplight town.

Wow that is so cool! Yes, Langley has certainly grown and expanded a lot! I grew up in Willoughby and that has really densified over the past 10 years. Thanks for watching

Love your information. I am just checking out the westside of Canada, Langley seems family friendly. Looking forward to a visit or just move and learn about the area God will soon. Willoughby Heights or Langley City close to transit.

Hey, thanks for watching! Langley is family-friendly for sure! Willoughby Heights more so than Langley City. The Skytrain is coming to Langley City (with service to Vancouver) in late 2028. Willoughby has the Carvolth exchange center (bus loop) with service to Vancouver. If you have any specific questions about any other neighbourhoods in Langley, you can message me or email me at caileigh@tvgrealestate.com

Great video, very comprehensive and well presented, thanks for sharing. How about commuting to downtown Vancouver using public transit? We understand the SKyTrain is coming, but it will likely take many years.

Hey Bao! Thanks for watching, I am glad you got value from this. Right now to get downtown from Langley in the most efficient way, I would suggest taking the 555 express bus from the Carvolth Exchange centre in Willoughby Heights located at 86th and 202 ST. This bus will take you directly to the Lougheed Skytrain Centre with fast service to downtown Vancouver, all the way to Waterfront Station. Total trip from Langley to Vancouver is approximately 50-60 minutes. Here is the schedule for the Carvolth www.translink.ca/schedules-and-maps/route/555/direction/0/schedule

@@caileighanderson Thanks very much for the detailed explanation. We hope to find the best city/town outside of Vancouver , but with reasonable commute time. Langley sure looks interesting...

Hey Cheryl, Salmon River is not in a floodplain. However, closer to the US border does have some lower elevations. If you want a map of Langley's floodplain, let me know!

    Hey...
I am traveling to Langley. For my study purpose.
    In Trinity western University.
Do you have any information about how good is it? And how far away from subway transportation. I also need to know. Which is the best place for accommodation?

Hey this is great! Awesome video! Amazjnf editing and presentation.
Quick question! What would be a perfect place to rent? We are 4 international students coming this month for TWU.
We want a place that we can share. Rent range CAD 1800-2200.
We need a place near University and with all amenities. Also if possible, somewhere close to market and bus transport access.
Can you please suggest some places and some tips.
It would really help. Thank you so much!

Hey, I do not do rentals, but based on your budget and needs, I would suggest Willoughby Heights. Lots of condos available there and it is a short bus ride to Trinity. Best of luck!
