    The manufacturer needs to make a 90 degree sleeve for each end in addition to a straight sleeve, then it would suit many more applications.

      They need to change the sleeves all together. The material is not good.

    Why they just couldn't make the two end straight through so it would sit flush against the hose clamp. It just seem sketchy with those ribbed that coolants coul leaked.

      Ya I agree. It works very well though if you use normal silicone hoses on the ends instead of those crappy clamps.

    Did these hoses end up being good? Or would you suggest using silicone still. I know it’s been 3 years but thank you!

      The flex hoses are still holding up fine the ends though all blew up on the first day. To replace those ends I used silicone hoses and it's working like that till now

      @@CarModsGarage hey appreciate the honesty and quick reply. rebuilding a truck with my old man but kept coming up a few inches short on the hoses. Didn’t wanna end up blowing the old girl up on him! Thanks very much for your advice.

      @@TheUnitsGallery no problem brother. I hope your build comes together dope. I would use those hoses again but throw the couples away and get silicone hose and cut to fit the ends or just use silicone. That's what I did on the Supra.
      Again, good luck bro!

    car is looking nice! If you had bought a different radiator with the top port on the driver side, you would not have had to run your hose across. I am going to stay away from these metal hoses. I have heard bad things about them

      Thank brother. Ya I know about that but I got good price on this one 👍

      @@CarModsGarage I would check the inside of hoses in about a year from your install date to see if you see rust in them. I am switching out some on a rat rod and the hoses have rust on the metal inside the hose. They might have been on car for a few years though. Pulled the car out of a barn and it had been sitting for awhile. Sub to you, bc you are cool

      @@NightThings99 thanks for the sub bro 🙏! Ya for sure. Rust forms very quickly and mine o started with water which got rusty very quickly. I'm about to switch the engine from this bmw to a new not crashed one so I'll flush this baby. Might try to find silicone hoses as well

      The hoses themselves are great but the connectors are trash. I've used the flex hoses and added silicone hoses on the ends with normal clamps. So far working like champ

      @@CarModsGarage you mean the hose clamps are trash?

    • @CarModsGarage
      @CarModsGarage  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@RonSavage01 yes. Not the clamp itself but the whole metal sleeve with the rubber inserts inside. They all blew on me. 3 out of for blew while I was driving
