I'm still confused by the whole corporation thing. If I understand correctly, it's possible to simply set up a store online selling stuff (even if you get next to no sales), fill out paperwork for it to legally be considered a corporation, and then pay less taxes on food/ trips/ anything that could be considered a business expense???? That's insane, why don't more people do that??

So Lesson 5 is that The One Skill to learn is marketing/sales and that will help all the people who do something for a sense of meaning, like teachers, social workers, artists etc to actually earn reasonably? Not sure that is a generalisable advice, as with the rest of the lessons, not every social worker can start a business.
Side note of reality, rich people also pay not to lose, they pay more than poor people as they spend a lot more for insurance on their assets for risk management.

If you had a great time at that job I would say you benefitted as much as the owner. Maybe not in terms of money but money should be used to buy pleasure which you already had ;)

I like everything in the video except the anology about fliipping a coin.... The equivalent would be going to vegas betting all your money on red or black. Its purely a gamble.... Investors dont go into business thinking i have a 50/50 chance. Good Investors take caculated risks.
