@Space if youre playing online games, then obviously, u can play zelda, metro redux, etc without wifi and it has the same hardware as all the other switches, so theres no difference in performance, same fps, same graphics, just smaller screen
@Space you’re talking about certain games that require Wi-Fi but what I’m talking about is the reliability, screen size, fps, battery life, etc.

I use my lite as a companion to the regular switch which stays docked to the tv. I can play anywhere with the lite and when I want to play on the tv I just pick up my pro controller in my sectional’s console and play it. The lite isn’t a bad device - it’s cheaper and more comfortable to use which makes it great for traveling or for kids.

I have the switch lite. Bought with my own money back in December 2019, after returning the game learning it didn’t support handheld. Got new game and was pretty good. Had some regrets wishing that I had just bought the regular switch since I really liked the table top and tv modes. Now my brother and I are hopefully going to save up to buy it together to share.

I wouldn’t say it’s bad because it’s main purpose is to be a cheaper more portable switch and it does that well despite lacking some features the regular switch has

I’ve used both and using the Nintendo, switch lite it feels more durable then the regular switch because the joy cons don’t detach and it’s a much more solid consul

As a nintendo lite user, it's very good to use, atleast it works, and can play games.
As a lite user you could also connect controllers and buy or make some kind of stand and play like that with mulitplayer, although the small screen kinda would be a pain with that

The D-Pad
The problem is only aqua and yellow is the only socially allowed ones to play
Can’t argue with that it certainly feels better to hold and the thumb pad makes it worth it but only if you already have an original Switch because the battery just can’t hold a charge even while turned off.
Also there’s the tiny screen and I find certain words hard to make out however some games feel better on the Switch Lite

@Shingo97 if you were using a the lite and no pro controller then maybe it's the game? If you haven't noticed drag on any other games then probably it's the game.
@@jaspercaspian7480 My stick has problem going Left / Down with other games sometimes but no drift, maybe if i had a 3D platformer i might be sure if my Joycon really drift or not.

I have all switch light colors. 2 regular switches ( one classic, one splatoon limited) a ton of joycons. And 1 oled
Make sure your device is connected to the best possible Wi-Fi that you have always test the connection before playin the Nintendo switch lite doesn’t like to connect to Wi-Fi through walls so if you are in a room, keep the door open and retest the connection and make sure it is strong And never use your device while it’s on the charger. Be careful and try not to over charge it and never use it while it’s on the charger that is the most important thing. Keep it off when not using not in sleep mode

The only reason I didn't get a Lite is because it's a Nintendo SWITCH, and the Lite can't SWITCH. I wanted a console that could be both handheld and played on TV, so the normal Switch just seemed like a better option
Why are you calling the switch lite bad? It’s not like you have to buy it, it’s just for people who want a cheaper, smaller switch.
I prefer playing on the switch lite because it feels much better, has better buttons (wich are quieter) and who cares about the battery, I so not play 10 hours every day.

but why is it bad? It’s literally the exact same tech from any switch without joycons and easily portable. How does it make it bad? With how easily I can take my switch lite around and play its huge Nintendo library, switch lite is definitely worth it and REALLY GOOD for people who want to save a few extra bucks.
It’s bad because it can’t switch which is the main point of the switch, it doesn’t have HD rumble, it can’t play all the games on the switch library without buying joy-cons, and if your joysticks break you either have to get them replaced or buy a new one, The screen is smaller and the volume output is very quiet even at max Etc. need I say more
But not everyone wants it to switch? HD rumble enhances your experience yes, but it’s not a deal breaker when you know what you’re paying for. Not having to play like 20 games that use the joy con motion control has never bothered me and I’m sure all the other switch lite users out there. FYI, the screen on the switch lite is crisper and brighter compared to the regular switch model. Just because it’s not for you doesn’t make it bad, the fact that Nintendo is trying to bring a switch to every household with this particular model makes this an even better deal for many gamers and families who want their kids to own a durable, single-body, console.
on top of what Vilay said you can always buy a controller and it will work on your lite. I have owned a light and a normal switch and for the price you're paying for the lite it is def worth it.
