it's not heat damage it's just the fact that your hair has grown and gravity is making your curls drop more. Thats really common especially with the front parts. Heat damage will not curl up naturally no matter what you do, your hair looks very healthy!!

i'm so sorry i have no idea, it was a hand me down from my sister and she had it for a brick before i got it, but i'm sure u can find one at the beauty supply store and edge brushes always work better when they're super hard from the built up gel lmaooo
