    To reach the top of the moutain, the journey has a price. You have to be willing to endure the hard physical and mental strains of the climb. Thats how MJ played the game. Thats what seperates him from LeBron.

      That's BS! Lebron has worked as hard if not harder than Jordan or Kobe. If not, he would not have lasted this long esp. being a bigger guy and one has almost accomplished everything.
      The only reason why Lebron isn't the GOAT is because of his inconsistent outside shot!
      If he had a consistent shot, he would have closed more games and probably have titles.

    • @americo1818
      @americo1818 4 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      @@se7enzee444 also forgot to mention the numerous meltdowns most glaringly in 2011 when he was outplayed by a benchwarmer in the finals. Also he was swept in the finals multiple times. Not only does he not have an outside shot he doesn't have a mid-range shot at all and he is known as having the worst late game free throw of any Star. Multiple other stars have also won the championship during lebrons era while Jordan prevented multiple Stars from winnng at all in his era. As for working hard it is pretty well accepted LeBron has taken his foot off the gas quite a while ago and doesn't play both ends of the Court for some time. It isn't said but if you were to look at it he has been load managing minutes for years. So the argument that he works just that's hard or harder is far from the truth.

    • @hershelpogue1745
      @hershelpogue1745 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@se7enzee444 You can't compare Lebron to Michael Jordan no times period. He never worked harder than Michael Jordan. He wouldn't got out played by a bench player named Jason Terry, and might have been on peds too because he cramped up in the finals against San Antonio Spurs. No one forgets a loser like Lebron James. When you trying to convince and compare him to Michael Jordan the greatest of all times.

    Doug, for so many reasons this is why your my favorite commentator. This segment hit so many of those notes.
    Jordan was a Marine drill sergeant. Someone you hated in the moment but recognize he made you better, he was hard on you because he wanted the best for you, so he put you through hell.
    I shocked by the backlash of our culture against this concept. Shows how we have changed.
    Love what you do.

    25 years! It feels like yesterday to me! Time flies! Jordan is the GOAT no question about it for me. Not only that, he is an American Icon. No one but his children and his wife knows what kind of family man he is. No one is perfect but they don’t go around bad mouthing him. I can only speak as a fan of basketball and for that, he gave more more happiness than I could have ever asked for.

    Why do you think Jordan got choked up because he was thinking about people who dont like him? That's insane. He was most likely thinking about the efforts it took him to be who he is. Jordan has plenty of friends & probably none of them played with him. He hung out with the Knicks back when he played & most of those guys are still his friends. He doesn't care that his teammates dont like him, but look at how happy they were when he came back.

    I'm not sure how people are bleeding on the court Jordan and off the court Jordan. How can you talk about if he's a good father or husband?? How can you say someone else is a better father or husband? You and I have no idea. Plus who the hell cares. I'm watching basketball, not fatherhood. That is the crux of Lebron's "unlikeability". You hit the nail on the head. Lebrick wants to be liked way too much. He tries way too hard. He's the like the hard 5.5 in the group of a crew 8's that will do anything for you to like him.

    • @bevelinternational7527
      @bevelinternational7527 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Lebron stands for things. U talk like lebron isnt great...if it weren't for mike he prob be the greatest. MJ had an image too and he paid millions too uphold that. He sold out his hometown to uphold that bc he didnt wanna upset Republicans, racist Senate at the time, who buy shoes too. So yea, LBJ likes to be liked, but hes stood for many things and empowered many people. Jordan empowered himself. LBJ a project kid who built a school in his home town...if that's wanting to be liked, I'll sign up for that everytime

    Jackson didn't want to give the clutch shot to Pippen, thank God. Because of that Pippen wouldn't go back in the game and began calling Jackson a racist. Look up old BUlls games on youtube in the 80's. Pippen didn't come out of college a BB player, he wasn't on a BB scholarship and may have played his senior year. Pippen wasn't even a starter in the 80's and free throws he couldn't make if his life depended on it. Practicing every day with Jordan for 4 years and by 1990 Pippen started resembling a BB player. People have short memories.
