They want you to watch it on cable, and/or buy the episodes, while they know most in the U.S. would never see it other than streaming on Nutflex.
Because Netflix doesn't have the rights to air it in Ireland. Simple as that.
@@AM-em5gc I accept that. Still feels like a slap in the face though. There are other irish tv series on Netflix which aren't available in Ireland. Surely we would be the audience more likely to watch it.
I wacthed all 6 episodes for the first time when I was very sick and wanted something to distract me. Honestly, I couldn't have picked a better way to spend 3 hours. This show is brilliant and I laughed so hard that I forgot that I was sick. I cannot wait for season 2

Nah I was sick for the whole day but I was on a high having watched this. I just kept remembering all the funny moments and it was impossible not to feel happy.

Same I really loved it. I feel like female friendships are never portrayed well, but this show did it real well

I feel this is a very underrated cast. To have the on screen chemistry that they have is amazing.
My only "criticism" is that there is no continuity in the series. But then again... don't fix what's not broken.
It took me several times to understand what the girls were saying (James included), and I finally turned on the subtitles. Now I can watch without subtitles lol, except for Michelle (not a word lmao)....

Please, please pay for the original soundtrack. The substitutions are ruining the whole meaning of some scenes. (The talent show scene in 1x06 is a perfect example.)

This is the most fun, engaging and entertaining show I have seen in years. We do not have many shows like this these days. The actors/characters are phenomenal. So disappointed that there are no more seasons. This was my go to show especially after a hard/bad day. This show always cheers me up and makes me laugh with some nice moments too.
Im so obsessed i watched the show in one day. Waiting for its season 2 on netflix. Please have it on ya!

I rewatched the series more than 10x and it's still as hilarious, in fact even better when you realized what orla is doing at the background. Such a shame for people who haven't watched this, literally missing a masterpiece. Wish this would be bigger in the Philippines.

I honestly don’t know whether they should do season 3 or not. On one hand I do want it since i developed a bond with characters, but on the other one season 2 had just a perfect ending so I don’t know what more could be added to make it even better...

What a great show. I was not expecting to tear up at the very end when they showed the juxtaposition of the scared parents and the political situation in Ireland and the kids being happy ignorant kids.

Now I’m going to complain: does the person who made this video understand the principles of comedy? These are all the punchlines without any of the set ups. the whole episodes are building to these scenes. Context is critical.

Agreed, they should’ve shown the Macaulay culkin scene, or the “English fella going to a girls’ school” scene. The detention scene taken out of context just makes the gang look disgusting (James) and cruel (orla, Clare)
I loved it. I enjoyed learning a few irish things (assuming it's real portrayal) and the way they cuss is so funny. Season 2 is already out so I hope Netflix will get it soon.

I think there’s a wait that sometimes lasts for months so chances are that season 2 should hit American shores between the end of summer and the start of Fall (meaning between August and October). But this is mainly a hunch.

Also, Netflix, can ya have a chat with Channel 4 and Lisa McGee about having an episode of season 3 dedicated to Lyra Mckee, a young journalist who was killed by someone thought to be part of a dissident group in Derry just before Good Friday this year (less than two days ago). That would be class if you did that.

I'm legitimately curious, do people in Ireland actually talk like that? Not that I have a problem with it, just that it's so melodic and seems a bit exaggerated. I just feel talking like that would just take up a lot of energy.
