I intentionally do not put in my shopping cart. Grocery stores are doing their best to eliminate jobs particularly with these self checkout machines now putting cashiers out of work. I leave the cart out because the store is going to need employees to gather them up and bring them to the rest of them. I don't care if it adds cost to our groceries.
@@RobRochon I was at Walmart in this video but in our town we have a smaller grocery store and they have employees that help take out your groceries and then take your cart back. It’s really nice and they do a great job.
I have always religiously put my cart away at the store except when my daughter was a baby. At the end of shopping I would take the cart to the car and put everythong in the car and my daughter in her carseat. I felt uncumfortable walking away and leaving my daughter in the car even for 2 seconds so I did not put the cart away. One time I got heckled for not putting it away. Why can't people give you any slack if you don't feel comfortable with leaving your car unattended?
It certainly more considerate. I'm definitely on team shopping cart put away. Cars are expensive and I'd hate someone's car getting digned because I wasn't thoughtful enough to put it away.
@@celebraterecoveryemmanuelp9234 Haha. Yeah thought I’d try to show how crazy it can be when we start trying to do good on our own. Thanks for watching !
That’s really good. I wonder how that changes based on location and region. I bet that might be interesting if there was a way to research that. Thanks for watching!
@@patrickclonan9829 There is an employee that gathers carts and then takes a long line of them from the cart coral back to the store. There were a lot of carts to return that day. What I did was a drop in the bucket.
people who put up their carts have no idea that a person has been hired to do that. they think they are helping others and being nice having no clue that they have just paid for that employee to have a job . the price is built into the groceries you just purchased and loaded into your vehicle. . so, you either want to put someone out of a job or to shallow to realize you just paid for that labor.
What do you think? Should we put up our shopping carts? 🛒

Leaving the shopping carts out in the lot is inconsiderate and shows how lazy a person can be.

Where I live, it's quite rare that people don't put up their shopping carts after use. I've always thought it was more the exception than the rule.
