Hello @YellowProductions , what is the hotel booking site that you mentioned toward the end of the video, plan in at time stamp 1:16? Thanks for the great content!
My wife and I have watched your videos for years and we actually showed up in this one (my wife was the person that gave you a shout out on the pedestrian bridge between Excalibur and NYNY and the very start of the video). You did an amazing job on this video and it really captured the experience of being on the strip on NYE. Very well done!
You are a trooper Chris to walk the Strip for us! I watched from beginning to end (started Jan 1st and ended Jan 2nd in the am). Always love your commentary and bits of information you drop on us. It's a great video for those people who don't realize how far one casino is from another - especially at the North end. Plus you find out where each hotel and casino are located in relation to one another. Gives us a much better perspective than looking at it on a map. I've been to Vegas several times, but it's always good to get a refresher course. Thank you for a job well done!
That was a fun walk. We got married in Vegas 10 years ago and we are heading back for our anniversary. First time back since and by the looks of it a lot has changed. We’re really excited!
❤ Ty for taking us along. Our virtual walk for NYE in LV. You are quite fit abled to walked the length & talked the entirety without skipping a beat. Also like the narrative.
Only spent New Years Eve in Vegas once, in 1996, but we picked a really Good one to experience because they imploded the old Hacienda ( to eventually build Mandalay Bay) at just before Midnight! The Strip was completely closed to traffic just like here, and it was the only time I’ve even gotten the chance to walk on the actual Strip…and then, two days later, we got to go the the Grand opening of NY NY!
Great video Chris, thanks. My wife and I spent NYE in Vegas every year from 1999 - 2010. Unless it's changed what the video doesn't show is how insanely crowded it is in the casinos. Trying to get a drink if you're playing is rough. And then even though it looks pretty chill on the strip, come 11:30 or so everybody from the casinos heads out to watch the fireworks. It is INSANE. Love Vegas and we only stay at the Wynn (comps for the win lol) and only go mid week these days
From the UK, got married in Vegas in 2004, just booked to come back for our 20th wedding anniversary (September) looks like The Strip has changed a lot since we were last there :) Stayed at the Strat first time, New York New York this time....Great video, enjoyed watching...
Great commentary as you walked all of the Strip. I made it to the end with you and enjoyed seeing areas I haven't seen before. Thanks for your awesome videos!
@@YellowProductions went to see David Blaine then decided to go walk and get a Fuku burger. But I could still see the fireworks from the West of the strip
This was fun to watch. I barely made it to a pub in my city right before midnight so didn't get to see much New Year's action. You seem to have made good time too, I would've thought it took much longer to walk the entire strip. Love Vegas in winter... 🎉💛
Yellow Productions is the go to place for anything Las Vegas. Chris always does a great job and explains exactly why I would avoid Fountain Bleu and Resorts World - they look great but miles away from the centre strip...
Those open intersections were the Shibuya Scramble of Vegas lol! 😜You did a great job capturing the excitement of NYE, Vegas style. I’m really enjoying all this varied content, Chris. You are appreciated!💛🙌🏾😀
Chris! Loved this walking tour of the strip! I made it to the end and really enjoyed all your insights and info of where everything is that we hear about all the time. Thanks so much and hope for more like this.
Nice video, made it to the end. We've done that walk from the Vegas sign to the Strat, but over 3 separate days while stopping at every casino to pick up a $1 chips to take home. It's a nice adventure and you get to people watch and see all the properties. BTW that Aztec Casino across the street from the Strat is our go to for cheap/good breakfast when we stay at the Strat. I believe it's also known as the $5 Cafe.
I enjoyed this very much. I haven’t been to Vegas in 8 years and don’t know when I’ll be back so I gladly followed along with you. And I liked seeing what the women were wearing so thank you for showing that. When I go to Vegas, all I wear is sequins. They’re fun.
@@YellowProductions - if I may, you disclosed your not a grammar technician and I’m not either, however I prefer to pronounce legendary clubs somewhat correctly. Maybe you did it on purpose for engagement purposes? lol Drai’s Nightclub is pronounced Draaaaaay’s, but saying it Dry’s might be cooler lol 😂😆
Very impressed with your tours! To the point that I'll follow in your footsteps, because it looks like I could do it...I appreciate you for the guided tour! Thank you...
Thanks for the info packed walk through, my hubby and I are planning our first trip here, this was a wonderful view into how vast it really is! Good thing we love walking!
Beautiful video Chris, thank you! I got married 12 years ago at the Venitian, in a white gondola and it was fabulous! We're still married 😂👏🧓🍾🥂Happy New Year 🎊🇨🇦
Highly appreciated watching your video from start to finish. Visiting from the UK in 40 something days. Last time I visited was 10 years ago. I appreciate videos like this so I know what to expect. Thank you!
Great walking video Chris! I think I'll wait to stay at Fontainebleau until they get some kinks worked out. Also, glad to know where I can get married by Elvis! 😁😎 Happy new year! I look forward to watching in 2024.
I did this same thing back on New Years Eve of 2011/12. My feet were tired AF. Bonus was getting pulled over and going through a field sobriety test by Nevada State Police. I was sober but he wanted to make sure.
Absolutely loved this vlog. Excellent review and explanation of your entire trip and process. I’m so glad you put all the effort into making this video. I’m definitely adding this trip to my list.
I made it to the end. Good job on narration--informative and never a dull moment. You handled walking thru the crowds very well. Thanx for pointing out locations of some of the off strip hotels that one hears about but aren't quite sure where they're at?? My 2 favorite things about planning a Vegas trip are ur videos and shopping for cheapest plane fare and best hotel deals. The trip itself seems almost anti-climactic. I'm gonna have to try that pastrami sandwich at NYNY😊. Happy 2024!
We stayed at the Hilton Grand Vacation club a few years ago. The best value on the strip. A one bedroom suite with kitchen and washer and dryer. It was quit and nice. We looked out our window watching the fountain bleu being built.
great wok! after u get past resorts world going North, its deadAF lol..also gets sketchier as u get closer to the strat, i was woking from the strat going south on that side to the bellagio on xmas eve and it was dead! coldAF too but time was like 3-5am lol
Hey Chris, played your entire video in one shot as I did some online surfing. Enjoyed your very knowledgeable banter regarding everything "The Strip". Was hoping you would include a few minutes of fireworks at the end, but wasn't expecting it, so that's totally fine. Keep up the good work, and continue to fill me in on the worldwide "must sees", especially those stand out locales close to home in Orange County. You and the family have the very best 2024!
Hi Chris. Hau'oli Makahiki Hou to you, OC Girl and the Travelling Princess. I thank you and appreciate you for putting in the time and effort for walking the Strip and showing what's it like on New Year's Eve and sharing your experience. Was this a live stream or a 4K video? The quality is amazing. Wishing you and the family a very happy, healthy and prosperous 2024. Mahalo and take care.😀👍🤙
I went to Las Vegas many times between 1967 and 2011, but have not been since. Nice to see what has changed and what is still the same(ie. Circus Circus). Your walk brought back lots of memories. I liked your reference to Monty Python's Spamalot. During my last visit to Vegas, I went to see it, not realising that my seat was the one where the Holy Grail was found. So I was brought up on stage and given The Arthur Award for Best Peasant. My only regret was that I never was in Vegas when Elvis was performing. I also seemed to go a few weeks before or after his engagements.
What you said is so true about the themed hotels are slowly disappearing or getting run down. That's why I want to go to Vegas so bad, before they disappear for good. I want to stay at the Excalibur or something similar.
Thank you for this content definitely helpful. I have a trip there this weekend. Never really experienced Vegas before this will most definitely be helpful
Thanks Kimberly! For what's it's worth this was NOT a live stream. This was recorded and uploaded after I did the walk so I could get some good 4K quality
