    Azure not only brings wonderful organic, healthy foods, but I am finding the best TH-cam channels by the algorithm kicking me the Azure hauls!

    We love duck! I poach the whole duck for 30 minutes then put it on the rotisserie for another 45 minutes.

      Yum! That sounds wonderful! I love a roast duck. Would also love to try making my own duck confit one of these days.

    Oh heck I love that pipe and wood shelf on the wall where all the glass jars are. It was visible when you went to get the prunes out of the pantry. Did you do-it-yourself and if so did you put a video out on it?

      Hi and thank you! My husband did all of those. He's amazing! No we did not make a video as that was before I had begun posting on YT. If we do anymore I will be sure to record! Thanks again!

    When you purchase the frozen and refrigerated products is the quality ok?

    • @wildthistlekitchen
      @wildthistlekitchen  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes, the quality is great. I have been consistently impressed with how they manage to ship fresh, frozen, and refrigerated on the same big truck and it all comes just as it should be. They really do an amazing job.

    Just a FYI, yams are different from sweet potatoes and have to be refrigerated or they go bad really quick unlike sweet potatoes. Azure does have a really great description of both on each item. The things you say you're going to make with the items always sounds so good, I'm going to check out what you cook. Thanks for sharing!

      Thank you! Yes they are different but most people call them the wrong thing (including me probably). I remember reading an article about it some time ago I think from America's Test Kitchen. Either way - I love them both! haha. Thank you for your kind feedback! I can't help but share how I'm going to use the products and I'm glad you enjoy it!

    You can use that sour cream as starter, too if you ever get close to running out of sour cream.

      That is on my list of things to try. That sour cream is TOO GOOD! haha. It's the creamiest.

    What’s shipping like? Do you use the drop zones, or does it all come to your house? What’s the shipping cost for a haul like this if you don’t mind me asking?

      We just got our first mail order haul. It weighed total 45lbs and shipping to Maryland was about $40. It arrived pulverized due to very poor packing and Azure replaced everything needed with free shipping. It would’ve cost over $70 for shipping at a higher weight. We’re trying to find what works best and give Azure another chance, so now will plan a day around a drop that’s about 45 minutes away. The drop shipping is much less. Azure needs to work on their shipping all around. I’ve exchanged emails with the drop organizer in my area and was told drop dates/times are usually changed. It can make it difficult for 9 to 5ers or folks on a set schedule.

      @@BoswelliaLuna8 I just ordered my first order from azure and having it sent through the mail. My closest drop pff is a hour away so by time you add in gas and time shopping is worth it. Hopefully nothing is broken and everything is good.

      I use a local drop that is about 30 minutes away. The shipping on this larger order was around $60. Still a huge savings even with that factored in. I am all the way on the east coast, so about as far away from Azure's warehouse as possible - haha. So the direct shipping to my home would just be outrageous. The drop is a great compromise.
