Thank you. This was very helpful as an incoming sophomore. I took honors physics 1 last year and it was horrible (my teacher wasn’t very good). I got the second highest grade in the class. An 81% which isn’t very good. I am looking for some easier AP classes as I have a hard time focusing (ADHD problems). Your video was very insightful and informative. I really appreciate that. Tysm.
@@Brianna_Jolie thank you. There is only 1 AP class offered for sophomores at my school so it’s more for junior and senior year. The only option is APUSH for sophomores. I decided to give it a shot, but all I heard was bad things lol.
@ItsBrooke. I personally had a bad experience with apush because my teacher was terrible (she actually got fired after teaching my class). But as long as you put in the effort, you should be fine especially since it's the only AP you'll be taking :)
@@Brianna_Jolie It’s probably one of the harder classes I am taking, but I know the teacher as he is the advisor for 2 of the clubs I am in. I know a lot about US history though as I have taken US History in 8th grade, Pre- AP US history in 9th grade, and now APUSH. I have a strong foundation for it and my teachers have been great, but it still scares me as it is my first AP class lol. As I said, Thank you for making this video.
I agreed with every ranking except calc bc 😭. Bc was so hard for no reason and what was that series unit. Maybe I just had a teacher with hard tests cuz I failed half of them but got a 4 on the exam. Btw did u take ab beforehand?
@ImSB. I didn't take ab beforehand, but yeah I have to admit the series unit was pretty hard. That was the only bad part about it imo though. Maybe it's bc I just like the subject 🤷♀️
Do you happen to have any recommendations for me? I go to a charter school and they don't offer any AP classes and they only offer concurrent enrollment courses at a community college. Im going into my sophomore year btw.
@mykying if you're planning on applying to a competitive top 20 school, I would definitely recommend taking as many concurrent enrollment classes as you can since you can't take APs. You could also try to self study a couple APs to show colleges you like to challenge yourself. I recommend self studying AP Psych since it's mainly memorization. Good luck with everything!
