Mass production is the only way real sneakerheads gonna get OG'S. Limited quantity just feeds resale
It's a bad ideal to do every shoe like this for any business or customer. Exclusivity helps keep the money flowing & your above average customer interest. And it's needed

Bad idea. They need to make a few more size 14 so that I can get my shoes. We have to always work hard to get our size. So, if they limit them we can just forget it.

If Covid never happened shoes would have never touched prices they hitting rn. Also don’t think Nike and Jordan will pull their stock back. They know money is out there for them to make and just cause stuff is “sitting” which it isn’t really it’s selling out over time like it always has just not instant sell out like Covid days cause people can’t spend like that anymore.

We shouldn't cut out the ideal of limited shoes because of some childish people who are mad because they don't get their way. Exclusivity is good business and the above average customers. Many of these higher end stores like Saks, Porsche, & many other exclusive stores have thrive for years by keeping their Exclusivity. Only the disease of these broke, entitled, cheap losers are the ones who are crippling the sneaker community mostly. No offense to you, only to those that it applies to. Plus, people kill over anything nowadays. Even they think you look at them the wrong way in their mines. So mass production of jordans ain't stopping that.

About time!!! Great news. It's been a while since ANY 10's released. OG even better.
I bought the OG 10s when they first released when I was visiting Johnson C Smith HBCU campus. I was one of the first people in Charlotte with them. Was flexing on campus, then went back to my JUCO where I hooped with them.
Honestly i hope they start doing all OG'S like they did the military blues. Easy cop for anyone who wanted em and low resale.

Having shoes is a blessing and you can buy any shoe you want. Kids just want to be able to go into the store and get some heat. Due to high quantities they can.
If we limit the number of OG pairs I also think they need to eliminate the bots and the abililty to purchase multiple pairs in the same size. Or they should have 2-3 restocks of OGs.

OG's should not be limited JB/Nike should do some kind of pre order system for the OG's so whoever wants them can get them. The collabs, Travis Scotts JB can keep playing monkey ball with those but for anyone who wants and appreciates the OG's make them easier to access.

I think the sneaker market is in a good place right now, people can pretty much get anything they want at retail and that's how it should be.
We definitely don't need more limited shoes, i shouldn't have to go to next man and pay him 300-600 for a shoe just because Nike/Jordan want to make them rare
If they do these like the lightning 17’s the only people that will be able to get them are resellers on secret sauce and bloggers. Regular sneaker heads won’t have a chance to even see them in person. Shoes sit because too many pairs come out monthly and people just wait for the price to drop about $20 each month. Buying sneakers is like buying stocks for some people. If I really want it. I buy release day. If I think I could use them…I wait.
You can't "put in footwork" if there are no stores in your area. Limiting quantities only benefits resellers.

I don't mind cutting back production numbers, but make sure the quantity is reasonable. If it's limited to the point again where only bots and the lucky few who get around them only cop, I don't feel like that's a happy medium.

But I’m sorry Jay, but I gotta disagree with you on the stock numbers of the OG’s. Limited quantities just means bots and resellers are gunna eat ‘em up, and charge crazy high prices for the true sneakerheads like us. I love how easy it was to get OG’s like the Playoff 12’s. I don’t care how much the resell value was, I was just happy to have them in the collection.

Limiting the OG’s is gonna hurt you YTbers too bc most of you pay higher than retail to get them for early reviews. If they are limited, then prices are gonna skyrocket and you all will have to spend those prices to get them early. Plus backdooring will get even worse
People with jobs should be able to cop shoes too. I don’t have time for “footwork”. I love being able to get something I like that drops without it having to become a part time job. Collab releases are incredibly unpleasant bc you can’t get them.
Collaboration are unpleasant because people can't cop. Plus, they can cop if they are willing to pay. Collaboration are rewarding to have if you like exclusivity and don't mine paying the price for it. Also, I work a job and still put in that footwork. Lazy, entitled, broke, losers complain about not getting exclusivity. Low level effort low & low level paying customers want exclusivity and high reward. The two in reality just don't match

Personally Jay I was born 11/23/1993 I feel like off top since I’ve been wearing Jordan’s boodies as a infant an toddler my whole life and seeing how things went in the market this year, I hope at my size will sit for Steel 10’s! All these collabs and resellers and don’t even want to put the effort right in the shoe is why the shoe game ain’t what it was or meant when I was growing up! I’m hoping I can get these always love them but never got a pair, and wish they would bring back the Red Steel’s too. Only real heads know if you know you know 🤷🏾♂️

I guess I’m in the minority. I’m passing on White Thunder 4’s because Fear 4’s come out later in the year. I’d rather have those. The shoe I’m looking forward to in August is Olympic 6’s.
I don't understand why anyone would want shoes limited as oppose to availability for everyone. The only folks who would like for them to be limited are the ones that have easier access to shoes than others.
For the Steels that are dropping are they the ones with the toe cap because that will determine if they sell out or not.
