Great video I watched it while I installed mine.... went n watched a few cus some got a bit confusing n kept coming back to yours you made it very simple n easy to follow thank you 🙏
Thanks! I tried but still learning this TH-cam thing a little bit 😂 but that’s all I was hoping to do is help someone! Was pretty hard for me to figure it out first! But also simple!
I've ran the Burger Motorsport's piggyback system on my last 3 rides (Golf R, Type-R and now the Supra 2.0). A Protune makes a HUGE difference here. Lookup Jesse DaBears, he's the top Supra tuner on the JB4. We worked on a 93 map for a few weeks getting the timing and everything perfect, then I got the Fuel-it Ethanol Analyzer kit and we moved up to a very strong E30 tune. The Armaspeed carbon fiber CAI sounds amazing on this car and from Jesse's experience, we are around 320whp and 350wtq. At around 3100 pounds (after swapping the stock wheels for some Gram Lights), this thing MOVES. Using Dragy, I clocked a 4.1 second 0-60 and 12.7 in the 1/4 mile...and that's with traction issues in 1st and 2nd launching =)
Just now seeing this, but have been on a jesse pro tune for about 2 years now, yes, it makes a night and day difference, and now xhp is abaliable for the car, e30 from Jesse and xhp is crazy for the price. I’ve got a 11.5 on video, with absolutely no launch, and a r888 tire, probably a little more fine tuning and it’s a high 10 second car
Once you set the map you can close it and it be on it. You can not even have the phone and the tune will be on! You have to go back map 0 to disable ot
@@baseball2021gmd I’m already catless that was the first mod I did was catless dp at about the 500mi mark. So far I’m Eventuri intake, Euromotive 4in catless dp, and Borla exhaust system I have a walk around and rev of my car before I added the Borla exhaust on my channel if you wanna check it out
I have my downpipe installed now, not catless tho I went catted for now. Video should be coming out tomorrow, trying to get more sound clips, but might just release that as a seperate video
@@gothichatredgaming6660 but I’ll definitely check it out! I have intake and full afe power exhaust now, turboback. Guessing you just ignore the check engine light?
Haven’t been able to get to a dyno yet, but can definitely feel a difference of at least 50 hp just from feel I’ll get a real number for you guys though. It accounts for the mods on the car too
I would definitely recommend it if your car is untunable, if it’s tunable I’d just get an ecutek tune but for now I’m satisfied with the gains! I also have a catback exhaust and injen intake so it helps out but wakes the car up a lot!
@@baseball2021gmd yea ecu date of 10-23-20 im all locked up. I ordered the JB4 after i watched your video this morning have a armspeed intake also on the way plan on doing a catted AMS DP after awhile. just wish i had more 93 octane stations around me.
@@purpskurp8737 you’ll be so happy with the results! Best part is I like to run even on map 2(91-93) and I think it runs perfect! Then I can always bump it up one more time if needed 😆, my ecu date was 06-26-20 so I missed it by literally days
@@baseball2021gmd the lag you were feeling in map 2 did it get any better or is it still there? my intake comes in Thursday gonna wait till then to install the jb4.
@@purpskurp8737 yes I addressed it through the wmi value in the user adjustable settings. Make sure you’re on the newest v19 update and change the wmi value to 60-80 I have mine at 60 and it feels great! 100 is max throttle feel if you’re feeling risky, a lot of my friends have been running the beta version v18 too and have had a lot better feeling shifts. I think mines fine the way it is now, but I will be taking the car to New Jersey motor sport park this weekend so I’ll really be able to feel it out!
I feel like it does a little bit. Makes the Burble at idle a little deeper as well, think that’s from the increased fuel tho. What really made it pop the most was using BimmerCode to add in sport plus to the car. Def increases shift speed and I feel makes the car pop the loudest. Can get some real aggressive pops now with jb4, sport + downpipe and full exhaust
I don’t see how it could hurt anything. It only uses stock parameters to trick the sensors to get more out of the car, it can still adjust air fuel and boost but not higher than the stock perameters of the engine. Lots of people have run them with no issue at all other than having more power on tap! Obviously down the line you are trying to get more out of the engine so it will place more stress on the car than a “stock” no tune one. But they have been around for 20+ years in the bmw world so I trust it!
And if the car is unlocked I would suggest a real flash tune, as you can play with more factors including timing to make it safer and get even more out of the car. But even if you’re tuned you can run the jb4 to get gauges on your phone check engine lights clear codes or even data log! Would highly recommend!
But the jb4 does not flash the dme of the car so if I ever took it in to Toyota they wouldn’t know it’s been tuned if I remove it, they can obviously check and see I was boosting more than I was supposed to and dumping more fuel, but I don’t think I’ll have any major problems with my car, knock on wood for the oil consumption
@@baseball2021gmd sounds all about right. I’ve got a launch edition with cts dp, charge and intake with the jb4 piggyback. Not trying to make crazy numbers. Just want a little more oomph and help things run harmonious. Saving a little money was nice too. Will more than likely upgrade to tek later on in the year. Thanks for the reply
@@nomoreliesmedia8811 I would def recommend the jb4 for a little extra boost! Especially with those mods and yours being a 2020 model with less power to begin with the jb4 puts them both around the same numbers! It will give you that kick you’re looking for for sure! And at half the price of an actual ecu tune and half the risk it’s great! So me gaining an extra 60 hp or so with intake and exhaust as you’d probably gain close to 100 from it.
A90 is a safe bet if you wanna get right into modding and tuning. Always go back and forth weather I should have bought the 20 black le they had for 49999 when I bought my 21, but once the ecu is actually cracked I think I will be more happy. But I did really want an a91 edition I wanted the blue but would have been content with black as I love the blue stitching on the seat. After I learned no heads up display in the a91 I got a little happier as I love that feature of my 21. Overall there’s no losing either way we all have Supra’s but I think everyone that bought a 21 wanted refraction blue
Thanks, in the process of learning right now! Any tips on what could have made it more enjoyable? Unfortunately I can’t go back in time and film it better from different angles but you learn as ya go right? But I’d appreciate any constructive criticism on how I could have made the video better

Just ordered my JB4 but haven't gotten my downpipe yet.. can I stil run the JB4 on Map 2 93 octane?
Hello man I have the 2021 supra with catless downpipe, if I get this can I delete the CEL forever and ever? Thanks
It doesn't, to eliminate the CEL you have to unlock the ecu and get a custom tune. Reason why im keeping the stock DP on my a91 for now.
best solution for 21 right now. adding meth and pure 800 could make 21 owner more happy
Great vid very informative

hey your costco receipt didn't say mexico.
Your first gear felt laggy cause it was cutting power cause it wants to spin. Turn traction off
What functionality do you lose if you dont have the EWS harness installed?
Is the car Stock? Your using map 2 with 93 octane?
Car was not stock. Dp intake exhaust, now running a custom e30 tune and loving it thus far!
Good video man I went Titan on mine until it can be fully tuned
I can not wait to be fully tuned either. Then go catless downpipe and some e blend and I would be happy.
