I just received the fan in today to test it, yeah it does pretty good the fan motor I agree even on high for its sizes does a very good job on all the speeds, the lights are okay. I am using to go out in the woods hunting my old one died and I read the same reviews a lot of great reviews the weights okay fits great in my rucksack. But on the LED lights I'm going to get clear crafts paper yellow and make them into bug Lights yellow or like the old fashion bulb look like at Lowes works great for keeping bugs away here at the house the old fashioned color brighter and you won't have a bug problem either that antique color works great.
A couple things make this fan a good choice in reduced/no radio interference. 1) it’s brushless 2) it has its own battery so there is no need to hook it up to your plane 3) it has a clip so you can move it away from your radios. So far so good!
@@TheThriftyPilot I was powering the USB OPolar off an external USB battery pack and was still getting hammered on the coms.. Garmin GTN 750xi, no less. I'll take a look at this one.. Although it appears that OPolar is no longer on Amazon.
On USB-C it takes about 3 hours On USB it takes about 6-8 Normally, I keep the fan plugged in when not in the plan (I actually use it while plugged in) and then when ready to fly I just unplug and it gives me hours worth of breezy goodness.
Update 41 hours Margaret the fan died of power but I'm still impressed I did not think it was going to even go past 24. When it came in on 7/31/21, I took it and put it on my workbench plugged it in let it get a full charge before doing my test. Next test fully charged on high. Ps it will kick back on and run for about another 4 minutes, the lights won't they just flicker back off that's what it's doing for me.
@@TheThriftyPilot Right I'm literally impressed, my daughters in our computer room it has its own air conditioning a Mitsubishi on the wall because it gets hot in that room. It used to be the back porch I still have the sliding glass doors here but it's all stained wood and drop ceiling. The air conditioner sits on the opposite side of my daughter so when it blows from that side of the wall there the room will freeze you out, I had to sit in there with her for a while then I put it over here near my wife for a while asking both of them do you still feel blowing pretty good on you on low speed and they said yeah getting their opinion approximately about three feet away.
You sound like me that's why I was going over this fan so I put my testing project on here a lot of great reviews on it also because I was watching so many videos last week trying to figure out all these little fans which one is good or not. I said the same thing as you on many videos get to the fking point Or you get the ones that seem like they took a hit of speed and want to let us all know the last time they cut their ball hair why explain their whole fking life story with the product like wtf.
@@TheThriftyPilot Don't take it personal brother you still did a good job just speed it up. Don't worry you're not one of the ones that was trying to explain to everyone if you shaving cream or Nair I was just giving him a point-of-view what I seen out there some just get too carried away like their brain scientist.
“Low...your children are going to feel the effects of this”....😂Got one today..thanks for recommendation...really seems perfect.
Agreed on the good choice on purchase! I use also carry battery banks which can extend the life of the fans as well!

Thanks for the video; I just ordered one for work
Hope you enjoy it!
Did you have any issues with interference and your coms? I tried an Opolar USB fan and it clobbered my radios while in use

Funk dude - get to the point and tell us about the fan.
Appreciate the feedback!
